Twice hadn't completely fixed on their concept at this point. After this one they went strongly into cute and didn't come back to this until Yes or Yes. Then they became more and more mature with Breakthrough, Fancy, and Feel Special. They were this good because they'd been training for years at JYP. Jihyo the longest with 10 years under her belt and Mina the least with 1 year, but several years of ballet before that. At JYP they trained in vocals, dance, acting, modeling and languages.
You get that right they are full of energy when you get to know them each member has there unique personality and sounds and they have strong friendship
Ah, i wonder why people seem to not notice that this zombies are not that undead cannibals from horror movies. They're basically a methaphor of people who're living dull, sad, uneventful and etc live, people who feel that they're existing, not living. Now this bright positive girls like Twice? They're making such people feel alive. You can see on example of zombie in the end whose heart start beating and eyes are becoming normal.
Some other girl groups you might like are Mamamoo, Everglow, (G)I-dle, CLC, 2NE1 (they're disbanded, but they were under YG like BlackPink is), EXID, and GFriend.
Your comment about TWICE’s positivity is what drew me to them when my daughter first made me watch some of their mv’s about 6 months ago. After TT, Cheer Up, & Likey I was hooked. Their newest mv’s are a departure somewhat from the “cute” concept they began with, but the positivity remains. And from everything you can read & hear about them they are known to be genuinely nice & humble even as they’ve risen to the top. Glad to see you reacting to them, look forward to your journey!

technically Jihyo only trained as an idol for 3 years whilst the rest were years she spent training to be an actor I belive.
