Painting Tips: How to Clean-up your Acrylic Paints!

Hi Friends!
It's been a long while since I posted a video! I had been working pretty hard on a project that wrapped up about a month ago, and then I got incredibly burnt out due to some family emergencies and other things that just kept ploughing through. Thankfully things have been getting much better and easier, which in turn means more energy to do fun things like this! I'll explain more in a vlog, but here is a "how to clean up your paints" video that I had prepared quite a few months ago, and finally got around to editing and sharing with ya'll :^)

Wow! What great advice. I never thought about that with acrylic paint but this is a great time as I’m about to start trying out acryla gouache. Definitely gotta do our part to keep plastic out of the ocean 🥰 thanks!

I'm getting ready to a teach kids art class and was looking for an easy clean-up method so parents don't have to be too involved in clean-up. This kills two birds with one stone.
1. Teach the kids a wet pallete diy. Check!
2. Different water disposal method. Check!

Megaaaaaan!!!! So good to see you as always! I have the same brush cleaner and it’s truly the best!!! As a cat owner, I will do better to keep micro plastics out of my drain and the ocean! There’s an abundance of kitty litter here so I have no excuse now lol!

Why did you have to leave the paint overnight? Could we just throw it right away in the kitten litter ?

I left the paint water overnight just to show a visual representation of how much paint sediment is in the water! You can most definitely throw it away in the litter as soon as you're finished :^)
