I love this and how real you are with your opinions and how you feel about products. And I always love the designs you do on her because hers are like so classy but still beautiful and amazing .
Vee! Yes! I use the 4C safety bit from Notpolish and use on a speed of 12-17 (don’t doesn’t drag) and it literally shears the acrylic off with almost no pressure and ofc heat. Once I got that bit and started doing it that way I never went back. Cause all my clients get backfills too. So each appt basically is removal and it was taking so long. And I have this efile too and now removal is a cinch. Also I do do the clear layer first so when moving thru the removal quickly as soon as I see the clear layer I can move on. Really has streamlined things ❤ Even my client said last week wow! That was so much faster! 1:08 I haven’t gotten into the video yet to see what you think of the efile but my opinion is it’s PURE luxury. Light. Sleek. Quiet. Powerful. Just SEXY. 😂
I switched to hard gel, prior to that I had a hairstylist client that I used 2 layers of YN base gel that’s meant for their hard gel system removed the sticky layer, then used protein bond and whatever acrylic I planned on using. Worked wonders for lifting and didn’t notice any issues with the acrylic adhesion.

I have hairstylist clients as well. I use your prep method, LGN pro Rubber base, and Ugly Duckling sculpting gel. I never have problems with lifting using this method. She has had Acrylic before and had lifting issues. It really is worth the switch 😊You're amazing. I love love love your content ❤

I'm a hairstylist and nail tech I'd suggest trying to switch this client to hard gels and out of acrylic. Acrylic is pourous so with her hands being in water and chemicals all day the acrylic won't hold up. But since gel isn't pourous it shouldn't lift as much or at all I've never had any issues since switching myself
Yess this is so true! She has made it known though that she only wants color acrylic. 😩
Alot of people refuse hard gel!!! I myself am the same way.. also it's really a pain in the ass to mess with. I hate when people request hard gel honestly.. but to each their own..also... gel has some lifting also so either way u will have to deal with a little lifting and vee don't have to deal with that with anyone else so one person isn't going to kill her or her game!!!!

Even worse, her hands are probably gloved a lot and sweat is full of bacteria and sodium etc will only expedite the the breakdown and speed up the lifting process 😢
@@Vee_nailedit I know you said you don’t like to take the extra step of a thin clear acrylic base layer before adding your colored acrylic, but it will (or should) help with lifting. The clear acrylic has no pigment or glitter so it adheres better to the nail. Try it next time on your problem lifting clients and see if it works for them.

For both my acrylic and gel clients I had lifting issues in the past. Since I switched my primers I barely have that issue. For Acrylic, I use Mia Secret dehydrator and primer and also No Lift Nails nail primer. For hard gel, I use mia secret dehydrator, A'galore's rubber base, light elegance's acid primer, and regular primer. All in that order and it works!

Vee ik u have had lifting with her for a while now and with her using chemicals. I swear I have found the best prep ever.. every person's nails do I have no lifting even clients like her. I do everything u do however I use Valentino prep dehydrator not polish triple x and then young nails protien bond.. one coat each and omg u would see a life changing difference fr... if u try plz let us know. Try on her especially u will see a total difference!! Also the cre8tion stain resistant top coat is a no wipe and its amazing also.. im a smoke and it worked way better then the young nails one!

I’ve learned that 2 or 3 coats of primer helps with lifting with hair stylist and anyone who is hard on there nails

For your brushes …if your using both ends back and forth between colors do you cap it with gel on it or do you have to clean out the one side and cap to use the other side. Or is it long enough you can have both sides uncapped and go back and forth ?
