    Really dope format to the video. Love the walking and talking and the question listed and not said. No interviewing awkwardness and completely focuses on the subject, the questions, and the responses. Subject is not stationary in a chair and the urban environment invites a realism. Whoever thought of this format needs a promotion and to make more of these.

    Love Jeff's comment on gear, "the less options you have, the more creative you have to be", that little nugget of concise info is so true and brilliantly phrased.

    What kind of gear did you guys use to shoot this

    • @gearpatrol
      @gearpatrol  4 года назад +6

      This was shot entirely on the Canon C200 and mostly handheld outside on a Canon 24-70 f2.8 lens. It was shot in Raw Lite on a 256gb CF2 card. Wireless G3 Sennheiser Mics and a Sennheiser shotgun. Manfrotto tripod for the camera beauties with a Canon 100mm macro and Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG. The spin is from a tabletop spinner from Amazon. I think that's it, if you have specific timecode I can help with that. Also, edit in Premiere and Color in Resolve.

      Save your cash. I bought and returned it. If you're doing studio work it might be useful, but overall I found it unnecessary for the M system. It made me feel disconnected from the subject/scene.

      And takes the same pictures as a $1,000 Fuji. In fat I just bought a second XT1 for $500, is an awesome camera. Then again I wonder how many Leica pros ever paid for their Leicas?
