In the crew when somebody dies its so emotional because normally in stories people in the team always have plot armor but in this story the impact of death is greater because nobody, not even the main character is safe
Not much can be done in the cyberpunk universe, you're lucky to live, much less get a happy ending. But the story in edge runners, I think a few of the cast would've lived longer had Lucy not gone around and keeping so many secrets from David. Rebecca's and David's blood is on Lucy's hands for what she did and they were preventable.
All of this would have been solved if the Gov just blew up the moon.
Kind of like in our time line where they almost launched a nuke at it to show how much Bigger ours is. Nothing like mushroom stamping the moon to say mines bigger lol.
Whole new meaning to mushroom stamp haha.
Even if, David would have turned Cyberpsycho still, as he became addicted to cyberware.
@1Ashram it would've been interesting to see if Lucy kept him from going full cyberpsycho or if he kept dipping in and out of psychosis. Lucy definitely brought him back and even in his final moments, he appeared to have overcome it somehow.
@@bluemenace04 He overcame it for moments, with his body pumped full of suppressents, the series itself is showing clearly how that ends, even if you have a partner, that is managing to pull you from the edge at first, remember Maine? The only person that ever managed to be able to deal with Cyberware unlimited, is Adam Smasher.
David also had the chance to become a relict. If the main goal was surviving, probably he would just accepted the offer from Adam Smasher.
He didn't. Everything after the BD with him going cyberpsycho & getting killed wasn't real 😂. Sorry to spoil that but its made pretty clear & when people started figuring it out they said they weren't making a season 2, such a profitable record breaking show not getting another season is wild. The only reason they wouldn't is if people figured out the twist.
I assume u played the game & maybe tot the tarot cards eventually getting the "The Moon" one. "The moon reminds us reality is not always what it seems at 1st glance. In a world of appearances & illusions, the best course is often charted by ones own intuition.

Rewatch the show up to Jimmy Kurosaki episode, note how he dies & has that eery creepy smile while looking at David....
Now notice too how David trips on thin air using his sandevistan, he never tripped or stumbled EVER when using it & only does right here when he's free from JK's edited BD that has David as the Cyberpsycho going on a rampage & loosing his mind.
Fast forward to the end we see everyone else die (not really Kiwi lol) but David the only 1 we get this splash wipe over to the same shot u (Dying the same way u see James Norris die to max tac notice?) see the same shot of corpo plaza u see as u enter the BD for James Norris who was made by Jimmy Kurosaki 😂.
Now u watch the end credits & get a nice big moon shot at 1:27 left on Netflix. U do the math & can solve its not real, David still in that chair reliving himself going cyberpsycho with Jimmy editing & selling it. Good news is everyone is alive except Pilar 😂 bad news is they not saving David. Remember guy deals with high end clients & arasaka, he had an emp to counter people trying to kidnap him so u really think they finding this guy easy like how they do in the show?

Yup,this is basically a quick synopsis of the anime. It takes place one year in 2076 before the events with V In cyberpunk:2077. It ties in with the updates on the cyberpunk:2077 game. And in cyberpunk:2077. You can find a BD near megatower 10 in a trash can which will be a preview of the first episode of the anime. Message Falco,the driver in the anime and he will give your fixer,el captain,a gift for you. It's a jacket,DAVID'S JACKET from the anime. You can find Rebecca's shotgun named GUTS in some bushes and kompeki plaza. The best Sandevistan to use like David's is i think the militech apogee Sandevistan that gives you 70% time slow. You can find all their graves in the Colobarium of Pliar,Doria,maine,Rebecca,kiwi and so on. Also,you know Adam Smasher? Yeah,he can use SANDEVISTAN just like in the anime.
I thought Adam Smasher was some parody name of Adam Sandler 😭😭

I’m gonna be honest & say that I’m SO SALTY about Rebecca’s death, David’s death, & Lucy getting her “happy ending”.
David was just a dumbass & ignored every warning he got since EP 1. Then sacrifice himself & half his remaining crew to save this bitch Lucy that kept secrets from everyone forever.
Rebecca was my fav character so I’m just traumatized by that. Not much else to say…ok I have a lot to say but I’m not trying to write a book.
And after ALL THAT, guess what? LUCY IS STILL SAD AT THE END😭😭😭 LIKE WTF??? Half the gang sacrificed their lives for you to be on the fucking moon & you’re still sad cuz your bf isn’t alive! Ughhhh, why did it have to be her & not Rebecca…..?

In her defense, it's not easy to be happy when all your friends died, especially because they died saving you, survivor guilt is a real serious thing so it's not that weird to be depressed
Bruh. That’s why this series is great. Because the characters behave realistically accordingly to their history and personality. Lucy was always a very private person and played things close to her chest. When she fell in love with David she did so partly because of his brash heroism. She truly believed even if she told him it would just make things even worse and that he would never run away.
Rebecca fell in love with him for the same reason but because she’s a bruiser all she can do is support him.
Meanwhile the lynchpin, David, just does what he knows how to do- give life and his job everything he has even if it means risking his life.
The same attributes that made him put on the Sandevistan in the first place are the same ones that made him unable to run away when death was knocking at his door.

I dont like this channel cuz its just a recap, not clever guide how to become god in cyberpunk universe! if you are just like me, then here is my plan of becoming god in cyberpunk: 1) Get an implant that will let you hack system with your mind. You now have big debt :

14:55 um where tf did u get Maine shot Dorio? Bro u stealing video ideas? Cause just a day or 2 ago i saw some idiot say this in their video now u saying the same even tho its very clear in the show shes shot from behind!
It tells me u didn't watch the show at all or u had someone writing the script who copied from that RUclipsr, cause u can clearly see Maine has a smart shotgun in his right hand & no gun in his left! If he shot her her head would be gone! They even show hiim shoot a piece of furniture shes on & it blows a giant hole in it!
Dorio is shot in the back of her head by a single bullet 3 times separately (hence y his glasses shattered) by cops, likely the one he immediately kills afterwards! Plus shes clearly shown past his gun when trying to save him from going full psycho & died facing him at his feet, if he short her she'd had flew backwards instead away from him.
U need to fire whoever wrote this for u cause yall looking like fraudulent activity 😂
Nope, Maine shot Dorio, if you watched t Anime you'd know that while tripping balls due to cyberpsychosis Maine couldn't actually see WHO he was shooting, just black blobs, and suddenly after shooting a black figure it cuts back to the real world revealing that the person he just shot was Dorio. Maybe before writing a paragraph, you should have watched the anime.
I bet that guy also thinks the moon is real.
@@davidperte62 Watch the scene again. After the gun shot is revealed, she's shot 2 or 3 more time from the back. Maine's gun isn't even pointing at her in that scene. It's pointing behind her. She was killed by police.
He also gets Tanaka's name wrong. He calls him Takahara
