My parents were awarded the Legendary Gamecock Fans of the Game just before the start of this game. We were on the field for this. It was awesome! Especially since my husband is a GDawg - made it even sweeter. Bless his heart, he left at end of 3rd.
Man, I think that this singular game was the high point in the history of South Carolina Football, particularly when Ace Sanders brought that punt return back to the house. Here's to hoping we'll get there again!

As an Alabama fan I have to say William Bryce stadium can be one of the loudest most electric stadiums in the SEC especially when South Carolina has a good football team gotta tip my houndstooth hat to y’all on that. ROLL TIDE.
I was also at that game. Little 9 year old me was loving every second of it. The loudest crowd ever. Hopefully we are this good 2021. The win over eiu was a great start
Have had season tickets since 1984 loudest its very been including the Bama game . you could feel the electricity at the tailgate. A wonderful night never to b forgotten
I was in the band and on the field for pregame.. I got a massive headache from how loud everyone was. That and then the ace sanders TD was the loudest that stadium has ever been. The only thing that rivaled it was the 4 quarter transition against Alabama in 2010
I was working security in student section that night for military "volunteering" or a free gamecock game as i called them. Connor Shaw, Lattimore, Ellington, Sanders, Clowney, Hampton, Swearinger, the HBC, and Willy B and its fans at a peak. Mind blowing awesomeness id pay to re experience.
Watching this back, I forgot that Shaw would tell you if it was a run or throw with his feet. Right foot dropped back is a pass. Feet together it’s a run.
@@marktoney1987 National??? HAHAHAHA.. you kiddin??? they haven't even won a SEC championship.. but, but, but... they did win one ACC championship like 53 years ago... so, there's that.

I come back to this game occasionally cuz in my opinion this was the best we have ever played in our entire existence. Peak gamecock football
This was my last year in the Carolina Band. God Bless Marcus Lattimore and To Hell with Georgia!!!

And then we lose to LSU the next week. We beat LSU, or even lose to them and beat Tennessee, we go to the national championship
It’s what makes us Gamecocks. The pain & the passion.
🤙

Yeah especially night games they rocked my Vols and ruined a playoff birth last year smh GBO🍊
As a South Carolina fan I assure you due to recent events the loudness has faded somewhat…
Sadly hasn't been on par in a while. Success breeds that crowd.
It get loud at first but after a few scores they'll leave after halftime.
ALLIN GO 🐅 🧡💜
I was at that game, and I've been a season ticket holder for a long time and Willy B has never been that loud.
It was deafening. Loved every second of it. We could have beaten absolutely anyone in the country that night. No doubt in my mind.

@@KingKlassicmf agreed. I really see a turnaround coming. Loving this energy
@@cjrocker01 I hope so I miss this Carolina, Beamer is a hell of a recruiter I think he will do just fine
@@dylanwheat5729 agreed. This defense is clicking. If we can get our offense going…. Oh boy. We could create some fireworks
One of my favorites as a gamecock fan ❤️

I couldn't breathe to play my instrument after that.
#6 Georgia playing #5 Carolina. What a game this was.
I miss these gamecocks 😢😢😢
Edit: I know I was only 6 years old in kindergarten but I remember this game like yesterday
Hey, I was 7 in ‘84 and I remember going to the game with my dad when we beat FSU that year.
Some things get branded into your memory at a young age.
Ace was hitting ALL the moves on that kick return
I remember watching this and being overwhelmed by the crowd ... in my living room.

2012. That was a great Carolina squad
I know Shawn Elliott is Head Coach at Georgia State. I wish he were available again.
He’s back on South Carolina staff this year! 🎉
I miss the Steve Spurrier days
I'm so glad the days of Mark Richt are over ...
Willy B was absolutely rocking that night! The best game I’ve ever attended

Connor Shaw is better than Georgia and that's really cool man for real 35-7
When is the last time South Carolina won a National Championship 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
