I had left another comment, but it was probably removed as I linked an early early 78 of Seamus Ennis playing this reel that was recently put up on SoundCloud. The Ennis refered to in O'Neill's was probably John Ennis, who was a Piper in Chicago at the time. He had a son Tom Ennis that became a well known piper & recorded with James Morrison. No relation to Seamus.
