Thanks Maëlla Roué Demians for the nomination. Here is my contribution to the #culturecobblestone challenge. 🎻Please get involved and share this message🎻 The Cobblestone of Smithfield, Dublin is a cultural hub in an historic Georgian building where music, song, dance, stories of Irish culture and world cultures are shared. Now, it is in danger of being eradicated to build yet another multi-stor...

Very percussive playing!
Fantastic, you're back! Great tune, brilliant playing as always.
Only mighty as always ❤
Awesome, Sarah! You reminded me that this tune is on my list to learn. Enjoy your time!
Welcome back!
having too tight an embouchure may be an issue for me lol, notes sound like a mix of 1st and second octave but when i relax a bit, it sounds clearer,
Perfect name for a perfect tune
One of my favorite RUclips musician's .

Perhaps a weed rather than a shrub ? .....................................................

Which flute maker made your flute? I’m looking for a flute maker at the moment and not sure which is the right choice.
Love your style of playing sarah.Hupppppp
Wow, mighty playin there Sarah ! Dave Seridan adds another part which I guess you might be aware of descending down through F# and F natural. I use that
Great playing! Sending Love from Co. Fermanagh !
I am confused, you said "New Years Eve" but the trees outside are green? Are you in Australia?
I just learned this tune using your video. Thank you! From SW Virginia.
Great pace, well played. Cheers
Hi Sarah i have started a beginners traditional Irish Flute class - no - no musical background in playing any instrument or ability to read music is necessary - which is good because i cant do either. I started in the 2nd term of the lessons and there are 5 in my class including myself. The other players already know how to blow into the flute and pick up a basic tune from watching our tutor - and i can't. One of my major problems is my fingers cant stretch onto the 6 flute holes - my right hand span isnt very good and when i try to position my figures my month isn't in the correct position. Also i cant seem to move my fingers off and on the holes naturally. Sarah would it be possible for you to do a video to help beginners learn how to hold the flute, position their beginners in a natural way (possibly show an unconventional way of holding the flute just to be able to play tunes). Im learning and playing for myself so I'll not be entering any competitions or any exams - im doing it for myself - im 60yrs but my fingers and hands are fine so ive no issues with mobility in my hands except from the fact they are not ysed ti being stretched. Is there any hand stretching exercises i can do. I would appreciate any advice. Many thanks Una
lovely tune and as usual so well played would love to see you do the 10 best slow airs thanks again
thanks for the music sarah and well played
Increíble Sarah!! 🤩👏
Great tune, well played cheers
There's something in your playing that makes the music come alive. It certainly sounds exactly the way M. Barry intended when he composed it. And that's beyond ornamentation and slides.
well done thanks again and best of luck with the new baby😀😀
Verry good timing good 👍
welcome back would love to get all the tunes on cds would be great
so many great tunes and so well played did you ever think of putting the on cd and selling them i would love to get them all thanks again and well played
Love your ornaments and slurs!
thanks very much for posting the tunes its something to look forward to on those long winter days cheers
Love it❤
What a brilliant tune! Thank you so much for introducing me to it. Your playing is beautiful.
Love your playing. Once you hear that third part it's really hard to omit it when playing this tune. Thanks to O'Neill's collection I discovered Sleeping Maggie, surely the third part is borrowed from there?
Just found this one; gorgeous! Please give us some more!
Lovely playing can I ask who made your flute?
Very nice rendition.
One of me favourites, great to play along with you cheers
Nice tune, again very well played, thanks
Great stuff to play along with thanks,
Lovely music sarah
Hats off to you for insisting on the G#. I have to admit I fudge it by replacing it with an upper e. (In fact, I knew a *fiddler* who played it similarly!)
