I grew up in the Methodist Church as my dad was a preacher there. For 35 years he got one entry level church after another because he refused to preach their non Biblical B.S. while watching any preacher who would just rocket to the top. The church I just started attending was Methodist and disassociated last year. I didn’t start attending there until they got all their paperwork and changed their name. I’m so grateful to have found a church that I know doesn’t teach all this nonsense!

We must be strong and courageous, humble and kind, loving and respectful but not tolerant. I've worked with plenty of people who think and believe contrary to scripture and I showed them the love and respect that Jesus would show, and of course we never talked too much about our differences in viewpoints because at work on the clock isn't the best time and place for that. I even told my one former coworker that I don't agree with the lifestyle but I can't point my finger at anyone for sinning against God when I have also sinned against God, and on a side note I'm still learning how to reach others.
True, but as christian is our responsibility to tell when they are doing wrong and the concecuences. Not doing so, we end on a society that do evil things. When evil get out of control, end up destroying your family and country.
I think another thing to point out is that whenever we use the word "tolerate", it's often with a thing that is a hassle, a pest, an annoyance or something that's hard to put up with. We "tolerate pain", we "tolerate annoying people". The way the word tolerance has been used in society is really different, the implication of what society has asked to do isn't "tolerating", it's asking us to "accept" and this is where the key difference is. It's a really sneaky way of having things happen.
I suffer from same-sex attraction due to trauma and lack of male connection in my youth. I lived the lifestyle for 17 years and it invited so many demons, that I still struggle with today. Tolerance is not love. It’s enabling sin.

Nowhere, and I mean nowhere in Scripture does it ever say we are to be tolerant of sin, tolerant of the world and it's vile, evil ways. Jesus was clear with his teaching when he said " be in the world, not of it."
We also left the UMC the end of 2023 due to not wanting to be complacent with the Conference's changes of the Book of Discipline. We should have seen this coming with the way the churches closed during Covid.

The way I look at this is basic. Don't lie, most of all don't be dishonest with yourself. If modifying your behavior goes against who you are it is a lie. We must be strong and courageous, humble and kind, loving and respectful but not tolerant. I've worked with plenty of people who think and believe contrary to scripture and I showed them the love and respect that Jesus would show, and of course we never talked too much about our differences in viewpoints because at work on the clock isn't the best time and place for that. I even told my one former coworker that I don't agree with the lifestyle but I can't point my finger at anyone for sinning against God when I have also sinned against God, and on a side note I'm still learning how to reach others.

I think another thing to point out is that whenever we use the word "tolerate", it's often with a thing that is a hassle, a pest, an annoyance or something that's hard to put up with. We "tolerate pain", we "tolerate annoying people". The way the word tolerance has been used in society is really different, the implication of what society has asked to do isn't "tolerating", it's asking us to "accept" and this is where the key difference is. It's a really sneaky way of having things happen.
I suffer from same-sex attraction due to trauma and lack of male connection in my youth. I lived the lifestyle for 17 years and it invited so many demons, that I still struggle with today. Tolerance is not love. It’s enabling sin.
Stay strong friend, God sees you, and nothing can ever seperate us from Gods love. You are following God's word and being "Holy as I am Holy" and "if you love me obey me"

Nowhere, and I mean nowhere in Scripture does it ever say we are to be tolerant of sin, tolerant of the world and it's vile, evil ways.
Jesus was clear with his teaching when he said " be in the world, not of it."
We also left the UMC the end of 2023 due to not wanting to be complacent with the Conference's changes of the Book of Discipline. We should have seen this coming with the way the churches closed during Covid.

We need more priests and pastors that have the courage to speak up for our faith. Christendom is under massive attack. All Christian denominations, be you Catholic or Protestant need to come together and speak the message of our lord and savior Jesus.
Pastor Mark, keep bringing the truth of the Gospel. Hard and straight, not what they want to hear but what they need to hear. Be God’s 60 grit sandpaper so His finishing sponges can finish up His mighty works in us. I pray I get to hear Jesus tell you “well done my good and faithful servant”. Inspire us to charge into battle against the adversary.
I think Jesus Christ answered the question of 'tolerance' when he flipped money tables over and chased people making money through worship out of the temple of God with a bullwhip...
You must understand TRUTH and have discernment here.
What you describe is an example of 'sin' in the CHURCH....
We are not to have sin in our personal lives and we are not to tolerate this kind of sin in our CHURCH.
These boundaries are very clear.

Zero Tolerance is the stance that needs to be taken. Jesus wouldn't tolerate sin and neither should we.
The way I look at this is basic. Don't lie, most of all don't be dishonest with yourself. If modifying your behavior goes against who you are it is a lie. I would rather be honest and make someone angry or hurt, than to lie to myself and hurt God and myself. So your feelings or Gods wrath.......no brainier.

We are not to allow sin in our personal lives, and in our our church. (the example in the post below - the CHURCH)
But the boundaries are very clear.
🙄 I'm so tired of people quoting this without knowing context: Yes we ARE supposed to judge each other. It's what kept societies in check for so long. However, we are also supposed to recognize our own sins. We cannot judge others without also judging ourselves. That does NOT mean that we're not supposed to judge at all.

Pastor Mark is so right. The main reason he is a target is because he calls it just like it is. He is biblically accurate. I have known him as a pastor since 2003. He is very bold but in a very Godly way.

It’s very telling how everyone talks about ‘tolerance’, but when it comes to extending that tolerance to believers who hold to true, godly, biblical Christian values, that same call for tolerance is non-existent. Tolerance and inclusion are the world’s way of trying to put out the Light of truth and warp the message of the cross into something they invent to make sin acceptable. One example is the ‘He Gets Us’ campaign. The Church has compromised in many ways but God’s word will never change. Biblical truth always! ✨

I am surprised that so many people don’t know this and it only happened 10 years ago.
Also, his Bible teaching is twisted and is not the Gospel of Christ.
Find a better teacher than someone who has damaged so many lives.
