    Geek & Gorgeous Power Peptides Pro Collagen Multi Peptide Serum Full Ingredients List:
    Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Polyglyceryl-6 Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Panthenol, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Dicaprylyl Ether, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Polyglyceryl-6 Behenate, Tetrapeptide-21, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Copper Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-14, Heptapeptide-15 Palmitate, Saccharide Isomerate, Allantoin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Tapioca Starch, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Lactic Acid/Glycolic Acid Copolymer, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin
    Per Geek & Gorgeous - Ingredient Features:
    Matrixyl 3000 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7): One of the most proven & well-known duos to reduce wrinkles, achieving younger-looking skin. It can significantly reduce wrinkle density and depth, while improving roughness, elasticity & skin tone. It also has a visible lifting effect.
    Matrixyl synthe’6 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38): A peptide that can boost the production of 6 major components of the skin matrix (Collagen I, III, IV, Fibronectin, Hyaluronic Acid and Laminin 5), resulting in more even skin & fewer wrinkles particularly on the forehead & eye area (crow's feet).
    TEGO® PEP 4-17 (Tetrapeptide-21): It is an extracellular matrix boosting peptide with superior collagen, hyaluronic and fibronectin boosting activity. It can increase skin elasticity & skin smoothness, while it also accelerates wound healing, indicating improved cellular turnover & skin regeneration activities.
    X50 Antiaging (Copper Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-14): An encapsulated copper peptide with a high-tech delivery system - the copper peptide is encapsulated in a biocompatible polymer shell and outside this shell sits another peptide (Heptapeptide-15 Palmitate) with a strong affinity to the fibroblast receptors, guiding the copper peptide to the collagen producing fibroblast cell, promoting the gene expression of both collagen and elastin, resulting in wrinkle reduction and increased elasticity.

I love the ingredients that remind me of the needless serum by Drmtlgy and the one by PSA without the niacinamide and much cheaper. I apply AzA after peptides before my 2nd moisturizer so I don’t know how a tacky feeling peptide will play with the spread.all my other priducts (Altreno, AzA, etc.) Since I already use Timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6 (with MS6 & Matrixyl 3000), I assume I’d stop those as i don’t need MS & Matrixyl x2. I was considering the Theramid 3% copper peptides; do you the G&G Power Peptides and the Theramid 3% CP or alternate?? Certainly if I started Power peptides, I’d want to stop those vs doubling up on MS6 & Matrixyl 3000. If Tego Pep is stronger than Matrixyl, maybe it’s worth trying assuming it even gets in to the skin? I have very limited storage space and therefore hate buying products that are just going to leave my other recently purchased peptides unused or going back in the fridge to go bad. I’m also not convinced that power peptides has much in the way of copper peptides, certainly not as much as the 3% Theramid. Do you use both on the same night or do you alternate? I wouldn’t even be looking at purchasing the power peptides, but I am out of retinal for my neck & chest and rather than spend $80 for the Avene, I decided to consider using G&G Retinal 1 instead except I get all my other products from other companies so I wouldn’t meet the minimum order.

    I've used this twice and both times it has wreaked havoc on my skin barrier the following day. Lots of small whitehead spots and slightly inflamed skin. Really gutted, as the formula, application and price are fantastic. I by no way have sensitive skin, as I use ordinary retinal 0.2% no problem, can use glycolic acids etc. Something in it doesnt agree with me.

    I’ve heard because the copper peptide is encapsulated it can be used with vitamin C?

    • @Storm411z
      @Storm411z Месяц назад +3

      Personally, if you want maximum benefits from both, I wouldn’t. Vitamin C derivatives probably fine (usually formulated at pHs >4), but ascorbic acid is a chelating agent (meaning it binds metal ions like copper, deactivating them) rendering your copper peptides unavailable to the enzyme lysyl oxidase which manufactures elastin and collagen (providing that firming effect often seen with CPs). AND ascorbic acid has to be formulated at pHs

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  19 дней назад +1

      They are both wonderful so you cannot go wrong with either of them in my opinion. The G&G is nice because of it's light serum texture- you could fit it in either morning or evening routines. The Stratia is nice but on the hydrating side so it is a bit more fussy on where you fit it into your routine- I find I have to use it at night. The G&G is a bit more of a minimalist formula whereas the Stratia also includes some beneficial ingredients along with the peptides- such as squalane, licorice root, panthenol. I would say if your skin tends to be oily the G&G is a good option.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  Месяц назад +3

      It doesn't use what we are trained to think of as copper peptides (aka the peptide that turns products a light shade of blue) instead it uses Copper Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-14, which is an encapsulated version of copper peptides. Some say these aren't as beneficial as ghk-cu copper peptides, while others believe they are actually more helpful and can work deeper into the skin. When I do my full review I will go deeper into discussing that.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  11 дней назад

      There are different versions of copper peptides, GHK, GHK-CU, and this one uses a specific type encapsulated copper peptides, because of the encapsulation it will not have the blue color that you are familiar with. Encapsulation is a process that gives a protective barrier around the molecule, the thought behind that is that it enhances penetration of the active ingredient.
