    What is the optimum storing temperature for hand poured candles. And bulk soy way storing? Starting a tiny side hustle to encase my vintage decor biz.

      @artfulglowcandle  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi @karenschmidtke8129 great question! The optimum storage temperature for hand-poured candles is generally cool and consistent ideally between 60-75°F (15-24°C).
      For bulk soy wax, it’s similar, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent any quality deterioration. This helps maintain the wax’s integrity and the candles’ fragrance. Your vintage decor biz sounds wonderful and integrating candles will surely add a charming touch to your offerings! Wishing good luck 🍀

      Hey Eliezer, thanks for reaching out! Absolutely, Makesy is based in Irvine where they have their headquarters along with a small showroom. Most of their products, including fragrances and vessels are usually available for local pickup. I'd recommend checking their website to confirm the availability of items you're interested in. I just covered my recent visit to Makesy in my latest video about their new fragrance oils - it might give you a good idea of what to expect! Best of luck with your upcoming candle business launch and if you have any questions or need some tips, feel free to keep the comments coming. Happy candle making! 🙂

    Wish you would give names of foreign suppliers you use. Also names of local suppliers that you use for special blends. Need more detailed information for us new guys

      Thanks for your comment! For foreign supplies we sometimes use Lark Artisan Supply in Canada. Locally in our area we rely on California Candle Supply and Makesy. I suggest trying a Google search to discover smaller suppliers close to you as there are many hidden gems out there. Hope that helps and happy candle making!

    I just don't like the fact that Candle Science doesn't have phone support. The email crap going back and forth sucks.
