    If you don’t have the Ais disabled with an ecu flash and you don’t keep the solenoid in place will the bike give issues starting. Just did this install and triple checked everything and the bike won’t start but will crank and fuel pump comes on with ignition. That’s the o key thing I could think of. Replaced battery as well

    Hi, I will be installing block off plates soon and once done add a PC 5 (will order off your STG site), I will not be flushing the ECU and I have bought O2 sensor eliminators for my 2018 R6. I hear you say in the video that these eliminators arent available for this year range? Has this changed since you uploaded the video? I dont want to do all this work and then when I install the eliminators it will still give me a check engine light. Great video as always keep it up! Thanks

    Hey Brian,
    Seeing the placement of the block of plates towards the front. Do you think another way to get there could be via the front of the bike, radiator off and fans out of the way?
    I know it forces to do a coolant flush but maybe that's the right time to combine these two jobs at the same time.
    I did that on an FZ1 to replace the spark plugs (since I also had to do a coolant flush anyways).

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  4 года назад

      They are designed for track use. That said I am sure there are plenty of people that run them on the street as well. You do not need to tune the bike to run them. That said depending on the year, make and model of your bike you may need a flash or an AIS eliminator to keep the check engine light from coming on. - Van

    Killer video. No way I could have completed this without it. You're the bomb. There's a bike, Dyno/Tuner nearby. He seems to think it's okay to Dyno/Tune my '20 R6 with 300 miles on it. Seems kind of aggressive to pin the throttle this soon. What do you think?

I ride street 24/7 with OCCASIONAL track days (4 in the summer MAX). I actually like all the popping on deceleration and any pops when shifting but, if i DONT install these, would it damage my engine in any way?
