Blast appeared behind Empty Void like a scene horror, but little did Void know the true bald horror is standing behind blast.
I guess you could say God didn’t think too highly of Speed O’ Sound Sonic if he went through so much effort in his other attempts but didn’t even try with him. Hell, God probably saw that specific memory and didn’t bother to pay attention to the details of why the heart didn’t work the first time around (or the part where Sonic was told you can’t cook it). God clearly didn’t think that one through or didn’t bother to try.
i legitimately just think thats a failed idea of something they found funny but wasnt. this episode was really bad. and short as hell.
It might also be that Sonic doesn't have anyone he looks up to, or admires, or loves, that god could've impersonated.
I was thinking that perhaps since he ate a monster cell he gained some kind of immunity to God's power since the monster cells come from God? So he was unable to be affected in the way flashy flash was. At least that's the best rationalization I can come up with lol...
the fact that God cosplays as some goofy ahh mosnter cell and even got assaulted in the process of power offering is proof that he actually cared about anyone who he is offering power to

Honestly it was pretty short but still very hype.
Let's hope Sonic gets a look at Blast and remembers him.
I really want Saitama to just one shot Empty Void and pick up the Cube to see God, I want God's honest feelings about Saitama and how much he wants to destroy him.
I hope Sonic doesn't give up on his journey to defeat Saitama, its a fun little skit they have together.
If God always picks a reassuring figure for the hallucinations, then maybe it bugged out for Sonic since there wasn't anyone he considered reassuring.
It's also possible that the monster cell he ate actually gave him a resistance to God's influence, sort of like a vaccine. That would also explain why the cooked monster cell is what appeared.
This actually is sad, cause it means he does not see Flash as a friend. He is such a loner, he's probably just focused on the idea of becoming the strongest ninja.

I find it funny how Blast looks like a Saiyan that modified his Saiyan armor to look more like a mix of piccolos getup and other scifi stuff and it actually kinda works really well.

omg i love Plot armor putting these videos out but I've been waiting for Saitama. Flash and Sonic are fun, but I feel there was so much more between Tatsumaki, Saitama and the monster association before we got into the ninja arc. Am I missing something? Did I miss some videos/episodes?

My best guess is that blast friend probably reached his limits of activating god power or perhaps he is really a weakling as he only have a fragment of god power. So either he could hold strong information regarding about Saitama source of power or probably has some sort of lead to get information on god
maybe god thought the monster cell went bad and put the thought of "its fresh" in sonic's mind, it still backfired but could explain the attempt
I'm glad that the strongest Ninja will have more screen time compared to the initial story where Saitama just punched him and got the swords for Sonic

My prediction: Sonic sees Blast after so long and there’s gonna be panels of him flashbacking to where Blast massacred the entire Ninja Village (who possibly got influenced by God), and leaving a big hole on their cube-shape HQ.
Blast might also be the one who put EV in the recovery capsule.

You do realize that one of the monster cells are talking to sonic, not opm god himself. If it was opm god, Him merely stabbing the monster cell would’ve been able to allow god to transfer enough power to sonic to make him become a god level threat
God is only using the target's mind to induce manipulation, but Sonic's mind is not as clear-cut as you would think. This is why God has failed to tempt him.
The monster cell dream was because sonic had already considered becoming a monster and put it before him again

That beast can withstand a force of 2.72 * 10^42N... For comparison, the whole observable universe has a mass of 10^53kg. Which would enact a force of 10^54N on earth if it were compressed to a point and placed on the surface of earth. There's so much potential energy stored in this configuration that if we apply real world physics, they would instantly collapse into one bigger black hole, if not for THE BAR!
People creamed over chair-sama in bleach, but THE BAR >> chair-sama . If we compare those two, the difference is in fact so big that King equals Saitama if we do the same comparison with them. THE BAR is literally infinitely strong. Even with the feats we have seen from Saitama, THE BAR is undefinable more powerful than he ever could be.
I won't rest untill THE BAR gets its deserved recognition.

I'm just gonna say it, this was a bad chapter. Just like Saitama is a "mentor" to Genos by giving him a goal to strive towards, Saitama "mentors" Sonic. Considering Sonic is such a big character, author did him dirty.
