I think I like the new character style of empty void better in this chapter. Plus having him be stronger than cosmic Garou makes it feel like more is on the line.

What about the scene where Roku embodied Ang and literally carved a large lava-crack into the ground when he was destroying the fire temple to give them an escape from the firebender trap when Katara, Sakka, and Zuko were all chained to pillars? He made the floor into lava in that instance since the floor turned magma and fell DOWN, if he was pulling lava UP from underneath the floor would of boiled UP, not fell down along the line of lava.
The creators just didn't like how they were doing the story, because it was repetitive of previous chapters and it was boring (at least that's what I'm assuming because I didn't really like it either) also empty void was super underwhelming and the readers couldn't understand the vastness of what his power was supposed to be since in the first version he just absorbed some ninjas to be strong, but now he absorbed the strongest power in the universe so far.

Imagine him using sun blade and moon blade together.
