It just goes to show the big difference between the 2 story’s, the webcomic is a parody of mainstream action manga whereas the manga is just a mainstream action manga that’s occasionally makes fun of itself, characters getting built up and then one shot feels a lot more unsatisfying in the manga because it’s first and foremost a action series with cool bombastic fights, which Saitamas off screen one shots don’t provide,

@deedcomicsanime2964 OK woah there buddy, I'm not going to disagree that opm > jjk in manga, but you are seriously overstating how "bad" gege is. Gege is writing a story that absolutely no one had problems with, it was being praised everywhere it went until these more recent chapters, where people are just complaining that sukuna is too strong and blah blah blah too many people die. Consider this; jjk is not the same type of story as opm, or really most Mangas. Part of the appeal of the show is its darker nature where characters die left and right and when they do, it's very gorey. That is NOT gege saying dead characters = good writing, that is gege writing the story that he wants to write. Also, alot of people attempt to remove any of the depth the characters have like yujis trauma at the hands of sukuna or Makis mistreatment by the zenin clan, by saying exactly what you just said when it's very clear that the story has good character writing and a solid plot, even if the art isn't very good.

I mean I am pretty sure it's not quantifiable, it's probably just another instance of spacetime manipulation hax. Someone being able to interact with a higher dimensional structure does not necessarily make them cosmically higher dimensional. Eg. being able to move to a 4d space and travel there or whatever doesn't make you more powerful than a being that can create or destroy an uncountably infinite amount of infinitely sized 3d universes.
So neither the lowball or the highball change. Empty void would probably get the spacial manipulation added on top of him, but he supposedly already had that so it doesn't make that big of a difference.

People seem to forget that with the opm god's power, it's not based on the amount of power you get, but how you use it, garou is literally the most broken character in the series to have ever taken he's powers, i don't really understand the meaning of the words "copy" and "improve", that's basically the most broken thing to ever have

This means that saitama will eventually be multi-outerversal at the end of the series and surpass the likes of Goku etc

He has the power of Cosmic Garou but not the power that Garou built up from the long fight of Saitama. We saw how Garou improved his abilities when he fought Saitama, but empty void only got the power what Garou got at the beginning of the transformation.
Don't forget in the last chapter that empty void after receiving God's power was stronger than blast himself (and they were on par with each other before void turned evil)

They're pretty powerful rn don't get me wrong. I still don't think any of these characters scale to DBS characters, they have feats that are pretty nuts. Powerscalers tend to rank goku multiversal+. I mean buu alone was a threat to the universe back in DBZ. Anyways so far they aren't any feats that prove even saitama is stronger. No offense, I think OPM characters are very powerful, but I don't think they are at "that" level yet.

The first encounter wherein Blast transported Garou and Saitama never actually happened at Blast perspective, thats why Blast realization of Saitamas power is his first realization if Saitamas power(when Saitama goes back time ending Garou in zero punch).

I honestly think that Garou and Void are at the same level power wise. My reasoning is that Void steals all of garoua power when he was a monster as it’s seen having his face looking monstrous i guess making him cosmic void. And when garou gets gods power he was also a monster so they both go from being dragon level monsters to cosmic avatars hence putting them at the same power level.

Aight pause...Because it sounded like Buu was absorbing Gotenks or sum, but EV just absorbed the 'Cosmic Power'... and if we compare both of them with Cosmic Power, its a matter of abilities, skillset and strength that gives one of them the edge.
Garou tanked most of the top heroes and monsters up to that point, acquired Monster Calamity God Slayer Fist, speed blitzed Platinum S, then COPIED Blast's Gravity Knuckle, expelled two huge Gamma Ray Bursts, developed the All Life Eradication Fist + Nuclear Fission, and matched exponential growth Saitama in a 1v1 up to a point.
No reason to believe EV can't use the cosmic techniques shown... BUT, I believe 'copy' came from the mix of it with Garou's prowess in techniques, and that's huge. My money is still on my goat until proven otherwise 🐐🐐🐐
If base void was as strong as blast and base garou was weaker than bang and bomb then cosmic void is stronger than cosmic garou via taking the exact same amount of power garou had. If he copies void void would just be stronger until garou adjusted and surpassed him, which he’d probably lose. He’d lose the sprint but win the marathon

I think there should be some corrections on the part where Empty Void took Garou power. EV didn't really absorbs Garou power but the cosmic energy powers that God provides to him. Since the cosmic energy that God gives basically upgrades and add new layer of abilities to his chosen subjects.
Its possible that EV never received Garou copy cat abilities or time travel techniques. But it upgraded EV Ninja techniques with the grabbing space itself like a blanket to disappear like a ninja would. We also know that the reason why Garou had so much knowledge about the universe is because of his Water rock smashing techniques that helps him understand the flow of the universe the moment he receives god powers. To make it better, this is just a small portion of what God could do. Just imagine the fight between Saitama and God would be.

This makes so much more sense, i mean if god made homeless emperor a dragon threat empty void should be WAY WAY WAY stronger and now he is. I’m super happy about the redraw because in all honesty i was very disappointed how empty void was portrayed at first and his strength level was way too low, he was the strongest ninja ever before he got the powers so yeah, it’s like flashy flash on steroids with dimensional powers. I didn’t even like the fact that blast was talking like a cowboy either. Felt super rushed but this is AWESOME! Man it was worth a redraw!
Human Garou(the short hair 18yr.) and Human empty void, one is a very powerful ninja on par with blast in magnitude of abilities and unknown abilities, while Garou(now as 18) is a very skilled martial artist(who reached the pinnacle of the way he does;with the experience he has definitely does awesome decisions) which combined more than +10 styles of unique hand abilities(the things he said), can do it individually and at least he can do Water stream rock smashing hands and whirlwind iron cutting fist subconsciously very effectively.
Saitama: U-don the "o" in Udon is prounced like rio, just like banging a taiko(drum).
Saitama and Manako going to eat Udon noodles after they comeback to eat, Genos will cook for them, Manako and Saitama may have fun with a bonding experience.

I remember the time “blasts”identity was hidden and people thought he was saitama. Time flies , we get to see him fight now.
I don't know if void is necesseraly stronger than cosmic garou because i don't think he is sucking cosmic fear garou power itself, i think he is sucking the blessing so i think he sort of has the same multiplier that garou had but not garou's power itself. Considering he was on par with blast years ago he's probably stronger than base cosmic garou, but we don't know if he has the same growth potential though because that was innate to garou himself and not the blessing, which was what made garou the biggest threat we've seen until now imo.
First part of the chapter was really good. 2nd part not so much. I was expecting it but I still don't see the point of Flashy Flash and Sonic sparring match at this point.
Also Murata said the new chapters was gonna be completely new. But parts of the old retconned chapters are still bein played out.
So I' m guessing the next chapter or two won't be as good as this one since Empty Void won't be in it.
I think since these chapters might start coming at the usual 30ish pages, we might see their fight, the fight with the Ninja Party, then a new epic entrance for Void to leave on a cliff hanger
Empty Void absorbing the cosmic energy doesn't make him stronger than Garou was, it just means that they have the same abilities, how both characters utilize them is very different, but regardless this chapter was goated.

I forgot to mention, but in chapter 168 we see that the original timeline cosmic garou succeeded in traveling back with saitama and was still disapearing. which means empty void would have gotten his power aswell

Saitama's punch connected with the God part of Cosmic fear Garou. That's why the God part vanished and it didn't kill Garou. Just like episode with the bald troupe and the first time we were introduced to Speed o Sound Sonic: he punched the dudes armor and it basically evaporated. 😅

This maybe confusing but,
Blast actually only knows Saitama is the one that one shotted cosmic garou and that Saitama tanked gamma ray burst.
Blast knows nothing about the fight in the Io etc, since that never happened and neither the battle betn garou and blast happened.
Blast only saw that future Saitama had came and saved the day.
