The magic MPH is about 70. I had a front window frame loosen up on me while towing. A bit of reinforcement and it's good as new. I have about 2 boating seasons on this setup so far.
Is there anyway you can do another walk through to show how you built the frame? Your video is the only HardTop-Jon boat conversion video on youtube. Lol im trying to put a hard top on my Jon boat like yours and i need the basic need for the frame.
Nice I got to make me one for that last fishing before ice but I going to use real thin aluminum, how wide is the beam on your boat and how dose it handle in the water?
do you have a video of you building the frame? doesn't it come apart easily for the summer or is it built to stay during the summer? I have a deck boat and need something like this for winter fishing.
I see what appears to be a metal tube coming up in front of the boat. Is that for keeping a small furnace hotbox in there? If so, that's a wonderful idea to keep it warmer on there
Great idea however structure is gonna shatter after the wind hits it. Those shower walls are great for weather but entirely to flimsy with no real support behind them
Great idea with the shower wall. Wish you had done a full build video. Thanks for posting this
Terrific idea, and execution. Great little video, provides some cool ideas. Makes me want to build some stuff! Thanks for sharing!
Love it! You need to mount a couple machine guns on the roof! Or make a couple cannon barrels out of pvc and mount them on the roof! Lol.
pro trick: you can watch series at Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Rowan Cade definitely, I have been watching on flixzone for months myself :)
So badass. I wanted to build a cabin using pvc filled with foam
Cool. Could fish year round with that.
Nice boat brotha

@@buildthatboat9129 do u have video on building the cabin itself
@@chadthomasson6621 I never made a full build video, but I may do a more in-depth video on how I assembled everything. Thanks for watching!
Dude that's bad ass, you could do AC in this thing and fish on the super hot days lol
@@cartsquads47 Exactly what I was thinking.

Sure thing, I'll try to get something posted soon.
@@buildthatboat9129 thanks man that would be highly appreciated
This is fantastic!

Any videos of the boat in the water?

How can we see this boat in action on the water? I love it but want to see it so badly!

Just a seat post for a forward mounted fishing seat. I like to use a propane buddy heater/
Would be a good maine digging boat!
How does it do while being pulled kn a trailer?
Do you find it very top heavy going through wakes or the wind? Looks great.
It has never felt top heavy or tippy but the wind does push the boat around a bit more.
How wide is the boat? Beam / Bottom? I got a 69" beam vhull I'd love to put a half cabin on
How can I reach you? What make and model Jon boat is that please?
Are those metal 2 x 4 used for sheet rock???
yup, Nailed it!
Please do a video on it in the water into that boat on the water you know like going 30 making turns and stuff hopefully doesn’t flip lol
What's the shower sheets called

How does the windows hold up while towing?
So far so good, the more reinforment there the better though! I think I would build thicker aluminum window frames if I were to do it again.
Anybody else watching his dogs play in yhe background?
good job sir. I love your idea. Check my project building a boat trailer too...
Lol boat 😂
