I used to do this occasionally and everyone thought it was stupid so I’m glad somebody else learned the magic
I did not know what black people had to do to fit in, and manipulate there hair to this extent just to get it straight, I have a son with a black women , and he dose not have to go through this, he has soft textured hair in comparison to this man, Now I can see mix race black, and full black is really different.
@@jerryholland3127 half black kids always come out looking Hispanic, soft curly hair, lighter skin complexion.
@@jerryholland3127 I'm Irish/English descent and I have a curly, knotty beard. I use a heated beard brush to straighten mine. This isn't exclusive to black men. It's so smooth after being straightened. I have no knots afterwards either.

It’s one of my favorite things hearing men share with other men tips like these that ladies helped each other with or taught ourselves as teens. I always hear my bf sharing cutting/dieting tips with friends that I knew like 15 years ago. It’s cute 😂 but also happy that everyone is willing to try other things now and make themselves however they want to look.

My beard is pretty similar to yours, specially under the chin. What else could we do to keep them as "relaxed" as possible, for long? After the shower, I brush and it looks great, but just in couple hours, the beard under the chin shrinks.
Blow drying your beard or using beard relaxer are the other 2 methods. Beard relaxer has the potential to damage your beard though.
You need to use a leave in conditioner on damp hair followed by a beard oil. Heat on curly hair normally is gonna dry your hair out. The leave in conditioner and oil is gonna relax the hair naturally instead of artificially getting length

maybe try a heated beard brush. Not sure if you're just averse to the heat, but you don't feel the heat on the brush. But like Ben said, don't use it while wet.

hi, question about beard oil. Are you supposed to wash it off after x number of hours? Also, do I have to wash it off before bed?
No. The hairs on your face and your skin absorb the oil, so there’s actually nothing really to wash off!
Will You Clam Up? ok thanks. If they get absorbed why would many of them have fragrance? Sounds like something pretty toxic to have absorbed. Sorry if I sound uninformed, I’m just curious..

Helpful feedback. Never buy a heated brush. It will never end well and never looks natural. ONLY use a detangle brush with good tension and blow dry straight on cool air. Heat for beards is a terrible idea. Blow dry straight will look more natural. Looking out for my beard Bros. ✌️
I use a beard brush, but I will try this and see how it works. I don't really have any issues with the brush, but if this makes it smoother, cool.

Your beard looked great after blow drying. Anything else is over kill. Not a fan of this great video info wise
Blow drying lasts for a couple hours tops. This lasts into the next day as you keep your beard dry, and saves time getting ready in the morning.
Y use a flat iron and u can use a beard come thag does the same thing.. i see rhe advertiseing on it a come that gets hot but not hot when u touch it and it straightens ur beard and hair and less dangerous... flat iron can get dangerous
