Beautifully made tribute to one of the most underrated characters on the show. Poor Max was always there for Carrie despite all her mania and drama. He loved Carrie & Farah, he was Peter's 'manager' and was a wonderful uncle to Franny. Rest in peace, sweet Max.

I just finished watching homeland , Max was a silent hero .
This brought me to TEARS. Max was too pure for the world of espionage, yet incredibly brilliant at what he does. I hated his fate but glad he made it far enough into the show to avenge Fara’s death.

I like max too. A shadow but a realy good character.
Killing off Max and Fara are two shocking scenes in the series. Killing off Peter Quinn is expected as the writer tends to punish those who have killed the innocent people. But Fara and Max have never killed any innocent men. They are the "collateral damage" in the spy world.
Such beautiful, genuine contrast between the glorious, heroic death of Haqqani and the random, humiliating one of Max. Heartbreaking, and also realistic.
That was the worst! Next to Quinn and Brody of course. Neither one of them deserved their fates, Fara, Astrid and Ayan included. Personally I think Carrie should die in the end given all the close people she's gotten killed.
A volcano of emotions character always willing to sacrifice herself for the country (and end up in Russian captivity among others) is definitely... She is like a black widow spider. She is dangerous, crazy and cause the death of most people, especialy men.
The most underrated character in Homeland, allways taken for granted... Not for us, Max. Not for us...

We can say that Max was one of the best-built characters in history - alongside Carrie, Brody, Saul, Dar Adal, Quinn and Astrid, Farah, Virgil... It would be possible to clarify the following doubts:
- Would you like to see Homeland reveal how the CIA explained Brody in Iran and his death to the American press?
- Clearly, Javadi's ability to receive credit for Brody's capture helped his cause in Iran, but did the US government reveal Brody's role in Akbari's murder?
- Was your name cleared for the CIA attack? I'd love to know what you think.
- Another loose thread: Paul Franklin and the murder of the "real" CIA bomber. He ended up doing that scene ... why ??
Carrie was publicly humiliated, beaten, doped, shot and put her life on the line countless times without hesitation, just to make others see Brody as she saw him ... and she succeeded. Abu Nazir, the CIA, Jessica and the show's own audience, no one came close to seeing Brody with the clarity Carrie has always seen. Carrie has always read Brody like no one else.
Ah, Carrie's dialogue with Javadi was incredible, it will be one of the most memorable moments in the series, without a doubt!
“And what you wanted, which was for everyone to see what you see in him. That happened. Everyone sees it through your eyes now ...”
- How did Carrie see Brody? and how did the US come to see this? It's the world?
Why am I crying!?? Gonna miss Homeland more than I imagined...
AA C R such a good show. I can’t wait to go back and watch this series from the beginning in a few years. I wish they had done 10 seasons 😔 it ended too soon.

Gut punch. I liked Max from the very beginning. Lots of his looks to Carrie said volumes. Unassuming and loyal to a fault. I didn't see his life ending this way. No words that truly leave us viewers shook to the core.

@@astitvaarora3181 "He died too soon" and "he could have contributed more" are not at all the same thing. Brodie died too soon, Max didn't, and besides Max was there the entire show contributing in case you missed it.
his death was a surprise and a tragedy.

I loved a lot of characters in this epic series. Max however was my constant. Max would do whatever anyone asked. Max was the embodiment of the human I hope I can be. I really thought his beautiful spirit would be left for the fans of the series

I myself didnt see Max as an important character... didnt appreciate him. I forgot he was there from day 1.
Well you should pay attention to the people who supported Carrie from the beginning. If it wasn’t for them, the whole operation would be compromised. Max and Farah were always there for Carrie and for the team. 👍🏻
