Pretty much came up with the storyline by putting the Mando and Grogu figures into the Mos Eisley and asking "who would they interact with, and how would those interactions go down"
@@BrotherhoodWorkshop ok so you combined mando and the cantina for the videos so what if you combined the footage of both cameras like in fight scenes use the up close camera and for more laid back shots or scenery shots use the higher image quality camera
I think I like watching this bts videos more than the actual brickfilm 😅 I love seeing all the little details of working on such a video. Especially when you're watching the brickfilm master! I really enjoys this Mandalorian short. The action flows nice and it's very fun with that classic Brotherhood Workshop humor and style. Keep up the great work my friend!
It was basically a throwaway gag but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about what the original trilogy would have been like with Mando instead of Han
I love the fact that you collaborated with so many other talented people for your project! It definitely added a whole other level of professionalism to the video! 👍
I have been using BRIOs for different stuff for a few years now and even established them as the standard camera for remote teaching. Love the wide angle and (while not relevant for you due to the obvious loss of image quality) the extremely powerful low-light enhancement. Amazing for hybrid D&D and stuff! Just clip it on a boom stand and you're ready to film the entire group or the battle map, whatever you need. I had never thought about using it for filming (stop motion or otherwise), so that was really eye-opening!
Glad to see a new video from you and I always appreciate these behind the scenes videos! And I always loved your older cantina videos that this reminded me of that! (Eventually when I get myself that MBS Cantina i want to put in a table with Han, star lord, and Malcom Reynolds!;)
Thank you so much for doing these videos! I gotta say if anybody wants to get good at stop-motion you gotta watch all your videos! They are so helpful and fun to watch. Keep up the amazing work! (Already excited for the next video) :)
Was looking for a new camera as an upgrade from my aging 1200D canon camera, and the quality of the BRIO is crazy insane. I'm definitely getting that, thanks for the tip Brotherhood.
I just have to say, i audibly gasped at this. Just the fact that you‘re still alive haha. Either way. One of my favourite youtubers. Keep up the phenomenal work. Woo!
This is a great option, especially for beginner animators on a budget. It took me years to save up for a DSLR. I found the workflow, software compatibility, price, and flexibility all were best with a webcam. Like you said, the image quality wasn't as good, but still decent. For my style of animation, I prefer workflow ease and flexibility over image quality.
Love watching your bts videos, always make my mood better especially right after your great animation! P.S. thank you for helping me with picking the lamps on Facebook, I really appreciate it. -GeshaD Productions
Which program or app did you use to edit and delete things in your stopmotions? I remember you from Harry Potter and LOTR stopmotions and I love them all.
I'm gonna be heading out to college in the next few months, and I'm leaving my mom's dslr camera here. I think I'll pick up one of the brios until i can get a nikon or canon. Great video!
What you said about the difference between your T2i and the webcam is pretty profound. Sometimes the “best” gear isn’t always the right answer. It’s a matter of what helps you tell your story best.
I think he was just stating a fundamental fact of quality difference. He’s always used a dslr, because that’s his preference. Plus the canon T2i is very cheap for a dslr, now that it’s 11 years old. It’s not like he’s uses top of the range gear like a Canon Eos 5D. That webcam is almost, if not the same price as a T2i anyways. Watch his video on his gear setup, it will make you think otherwise probably.
“I decided to combine the two”. Genius

I just love how the videos vary so much in their themes! Star Wars, LotR, Harry Potter and others! The work you do is highly appreciated!!
What a legend, showing how he makes his videos. Every time I watch these it makes me want to really get into stop-motion.

A double upload in one day!!! Can this day get any better!
I heard Jawa juice poster and I was instantly sold. Bought one immediately, didn't care that it was $8 for a printed 2x3 tile. Thanks for the link!
You’re welcome!
Nice tool to get closer to the set and actually move the camera around inside it!
Oh my gosh, perfect timing! I just got a webcam, and am going to get back into animation again!
I love these behind the scenes videos because of how you go in depth of how you actually animate and do your effects
This is a great BTS to an AMAZING stop motion!
It was basically a throwaway gag but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about what the original trilogy would have been like with Mando instead of Han
I definitely have to get myself a webcam now
But the webcam works on iPhone in stop motion studio pro?
an hour ago, I bought my dragonframe, I hope to film something as good as your work.

You've really only improved as the years have past.
I never knew a webcam can deliver such high quality. I also like the wide angle the webcam gives as well.
0:53, When you said your baby neice played Grogu, that was a curtenenss overload.
She is such a cute baby!
Heard of people using webcams, now seeing you animating I'll probably try it out
Great to see you uploading!
0:54 how do you make Grogu even cuter? Have an adorable human baby contribute!
