- TalkTV's Nick Ellerby speaks to the people of Millom after houses for migrants were vandalised with police patrols increasing.
The properties in the remote seaside town of Millom are set to be converted into Houses Of Multiple Occupancy (HMOs) with many locals furious at the new plans.
Graffiti has appeared on the side of one of the houses under renovation which read, ‘not welcome scum’, in large black letters which has led to police patrols in the area and the council issuing a call for calm in the area.

Just completed a homeless stint in a hotel in Birmingham, I saw with my own eyes 90% of the homeless cohort were 100% foreign and couldn't speak English, it was dystopian, unsafe and maddening! I'm lucky to have a home, privately sourced now ... But it's criminal!!

The Strathallan hotel Birmingham and the whole of the Hagley Road Birm, is now dedicated to housing the boat people ... LGH hotels have a monopoly on Birmingham hotels, owners are foreign, surprise surprise.

I live in small town in Cumbria population like 6k or something and we had a situation where a mosque got permission to be built here, anyway i think it's been built now but majority of local were against it and in a meeting a copper basically said we were racist for not wanting it in our town , we live in a strange time uk

It does not sound very hospitable, but wouldn't it be best to house these economic migrants in temporary barrack style buildings, on one of the many islands around the UK? Make it safe and sanitary, ensure residents do the cleaning and some maintenance. Maybe some gardening. This would be the most cost effective and safe for the UK population.
Alternatively, buy/rent PROPERTY ADJACENT TO MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT private homes?
Why should the electorate, that has made it very clear for decades that it did not want immigration, legal or otherwise, have to accept a bunch of young men, whose background is dubious at best, forced on them?

Until now I will bet they never saw a Policeman in their town,
I am from Millom, up until 2011 we had a fully maned police station with around 12 coppers and a CID detective, 2 cars and a van and also had a criminal court, police could always be found roaming the streets day and night, then all of a sudden the station was shut along with a few others around the county, since then we have got 2 community officers that work out of an office behind the library, a complete and utter piss take like. All it will take is one false move by one of these invaders and it will all go tits up, the town will retaliate, not me personally due to my knackered legs, it will not end nice if they continue with this madness

Well I think these poor war torn migrants should get houses first. They turn up here with no women or children, obviously killed in those dreadful wars! So as young men they have a lot to deal with.
