Dr. Hanley, i am quite surprised by the capability of Stallion 3D. How come there is no much visibility of it in terms of commercial usage, publications and reviews? Could it be used as automated tool for CFD analysis of batch run for MDO purpose
Hi Devendra, Thanks for your comments. I hope you are doing well. Stallion 3D is developed as a personal CFD analysis tool for Windows 7, 8 or 10. It does not have a batch function. The software runs interactively and enables users to accurately analyze complex design shapes on an ordinary laptop/desktop computers. Stallion 3D gives engineers a tool to make positive design decisions early in the design process. Thanks again, Best regards, Patrick
Hi Patrick, what did you use as your reference area? Is the the projected area from the front of the plane, from the side of the plane, or from the top of the plane (looking down on the wing [planform area]). Thanks!
Hi Esra, Thanks for your message. I hope you are doing well. Stallion 3D is available at www.hanleyinnovations.com. As it is a commercial package, it is not free but available as a yearly subscription. Thanks again. Best regards, Patrick

Thanks, Abdalla. I appreciate it. Best wishes
