Holy shit! Looks so easy. Finally i can solve my problem since i was 10. I just can't find the right spot in the frying where it cooks my pan cake evenly.
Hey Hamed, this depends as there are two options. The free option is all public, the paid option is entirely the opposite. We cannot and would not access private data unless the user chooses to share it with support, then we can share the project and collaborate :)

God, as a hobbyist trying to design a chamber heater for my 3d printer - I hope this is still true in 2024. Especially since Autodesk is currently charging OVER THIRTY THOUSAND US DOLLARS for a 3 year subscription to their CFD extension (that's on top of $2000 subscription to Fusion alone). What kind of world do we live in,
How much does it cost to get an accurate Cd from a model I upload to you ? How many simulations are " free " ? Can I run a model and get the stock Cd to verify that your CFD is accurate, and then make a modification to the model, such as a grill block and Kammback and then run a test to compare Cds ? What would that cost ?
They give you 10 free sims with the community account. Thats enough for some tutorials that are there eg. compressible fluid flow around aerofoil. You can apply for some power user program, but that requires some more activity and you would have to create a new tutorial for them whic they can use to get more people in.
You can check out their RUclips page: ruclips.net/channel/UCIi21t-7PVPNECXeAS0z7pw - will also release some tutorials on SimScale soon, let me know what you would like to see.
Simulation mainly done to reduce physical testing cost so result should be highly accurate(like high end pack NX NASTRAN,STAR CCM+,ANSYS). what about this new software result accuracy ? Solver ? parameter on which engineer really compare CAE tool, not just fancy animation i guess
Hi Devarshi, that's a good point. SimScale uses the openfoam solver, which is widely validated and accepted in the CFD industry. For solid mechanics simulations, Code_Aster, an open source solver, is used. Beyond this, we have a validation page (www.simscale.com/validation/) with dozens of validation projects and benchmarks. I suggest you check it out!
Legit questions mate, obviously this was a promotional piece rather than a technical deep dive/investigation or a 'review'. But before committing to this I spoke with multiple sources in the simulation industry who are experts across a wide range of sim solutions and they all spoke very highly of Simscale. That might not mean much to you but personally I have extremely high standards (hence why there's very few promotions on the channel) and those approvals from people I trust where good enough for me to get behind and support this. But I respect the question and will see if I can get some further info on that, and I'll note it in a pinned top comment if I can get that info.
@@Neil3D I write cfd software called wildkatze. Yes, there is a community plan available with correspondingly less features as compared to academic and professional license. No it cannot be used offline however you can start the simulation and even close the computer. The simulation will run in cloud and you will be notified when finished.

Actually AI based solvers are being developed for CFD and other fields. Not sure if simscale is doing that though

Many thanks for the heads-up! Compressible CFD? Yes please.
Where did you get the music you used at the end? A variation of it was used on a BBC Radio 1 show about 10 years ago and I liked it then.

Thanks for the info. No reason not to give it a shot.
Why though?
This one I can fully endorse and enjoy! Thanks, mate!
Can simscale be used if your project is under NDA?
Yes, there is an option to make your projects private.
Looks cool, unfortunately I will never be able to use it at work. The cloud is forbidden in my industry.
What do you use? Cloud for engineering data sounds absurd to me, I really want an installable product

Watch out if you are making turbomachinery. Subsonic, and compresable simulations are still behind the pay wall
Fuck this is the most exciting thing I’ve seen all month

thank you so much...you did a great job just by guiding us....keep it up from Egypt

Perfect for my school!! Thanks
Is this BitCoins or SpaceX?
Im going to try it
Can I still have a free account for more, than 10 sims? It seems to be ale paid now..
Not FREE at all. Some initial free computational hours only.
With the community plan you get less features. But it is still way more than what traditional software licenses offer.
