      Yes, it's a difficult name to pronounce. For us from South/Southeastern Slavic lands, there is a tendency to just say "Grzegorz" with z's being pronounced, as our alphabets are phonetic, and there's a tendency to want to pronounce every letter. But the little I know about Polish is that those z's are usually silent, so I'd probably err on the side of just Anglicizing his first name and pronouncing it like "Gregor" unless I had a friend from Poland to teach me.

    At 7:01 Instead of Qd4+ (which is a good move nevertheless) , there's a better move that seals the game. 1.Qd6+ is more forcing, because now black has only ... Ke8 2. Ng6+ Kg/f7 3.Re7+ and it seems like the mate net is inevitable. Or am I missing something?

    • @trist-9339
      @trist-9339 Год назад

      I read your comment and actually started thinking about it. 1. Qd6+ looks more forcing, the king has less squares, but every square he goes to leads to m2, whereas you proposed a m4, seems like it's just faster checkmate that way.
