I appreciate your knowledge - as a 16 year old slide rule enthusiast it is quite helpful! Concise included instruction booklets but they can be unclear at times...
Can't express in words how much I enjoy your videos. Never learned to use these (Gen X) and are extremely grateful that I can now catch up under the guidance of someone who has the experience of actual use!
The slide rule gives insight and meaning to numbers and trig functions that you just don’t get from punching buttons in a calculator. It makes math understandable and, well, easy
i am so glad you're doing this series. it's been a long time since i picked up the sticks. also, i don't think you'll mind, but i am creating a *_"BTSG - Slide Rules"_* playlist on my channel as well. if you would like me to remove it, i will do so.
absolutely, I was already planning radiometric dating, and as a result of the above comment, I'm looking at compounded interest and Euler. It is a great suggestion.
Small recommendation - I think there is some smudge on the lens. It looks a bit hazy. But you might also put one together on compound interest/decay - I think that is a practical application people might appreciate.
I am looking forward for the next episode and lesten for the genious of the design.

No that’s is fine. Have any suggestions? I have the next 5 or so mapped out but would like feedback
@@sliderulesandmathematics9232 personally, i would like a dive into the various L/LLx scales. i have completely forgotten them.
Absolutely, that is the plan after the trig scales... We are almost done with those.
@@sliderulesandmathematics9232 I second the request for a deep dive into the LL-scales (after completing trig) 👍

When we discuss the LL scales I will go over C14 dating and yes, I’ll clean the lenses
No batteries required 👌
