@Phil Beckwith . Thats what they used to use to sand the drywall, now there is dustless sanders, They probably still are used by some, how times change my freind.
Thankyou If it was a bigger wall, and the weather was warmer at the time of filming, you could coat it up, then go back to the beginning and coat it again. You definitely could if it was new plaster. I am not sure if it takes a little longer to soak into the plasterboard, it was hard to tell because it was cold on this job.
Just purchased my first house. Plasterboard walls with wallpaper has been stripped. Can I paint straight onto this (obviously after sanding and filling)?
Water down first coat with a 70/30 ratio then appy to plaster board, dont put neat paint on, you need to seal plaster board and the dry wall filler. or you can buy a dry wall primer.
those sander pads on a roller pole are brilliant, very handy to have for nibbing down.

Can I paint directly on the plasterboard after I have sealed the joints with inlay plaster? Or do I have to use putty powder before painting?
