swordsman09 I think I have found the Killer Instinct theme in Glacius's theme. I think the hardest place to find the theme would be in Spinal's theme for me. I haven't searched Jago's theme. Sabrewulf's theme should be easy. .

Now imagine my confusion when I was listening to Devil Trigger for the uptenth time, and for some reason I had flashbacks to this song. The vocals were familiar but even the rhythm and the distribution of music/singing reminded me of this. And behold: yeah, same people :D

Orchid always had the one of the best themes throughout the series. in each instalment her theme was just consistently very well done. good energy and really setting the mood for the game.

God, I really hope Microsoft finds a competent team to do the sequel to Killer Instinct. The reboot, once you get the complete edition with all the characters included? Is just incredible. Mick Gordon's awesome compositions only added to that intensity. We need a Killer Instinct II (Roman numeral to separate it from the original KI2) packed to the gills with content and even more characters.

His work for KI is really underrated! From metal to dance techno and dupstep and even classical! For Thunder theme he used actual instruments from the tribe Thunder is from, Hisako repeats words because it’s the sign that she is not a demon is Japan culture and many other little touches that he manages to tie in with characters AND music!
@@JetstreamRat YEah, even the theme for Jago was done very well. The theme for Shadow Jago though.... talk about INTENSE! The Theme Polemos as well I heard had some extra effort.

This song is literally the reason I just downloaded KI on my PC. Haven't even played it and so far the seasons 1+2 soundtracks might be my favourite in any game ever.

Halo series, modern warfare 2, modern warfare 3, ori and the blind forest....
Pretty much all of the Metal Gear games have excellent music. Some of the Assassin's Creed games too, for that matter. The Souls series (including Bloodborne) are also good examples of music done right, and of course the Zelda series have some of the most memorable music in gaming.

I’m late to the party but I think a lot of Bruce Faulconer’s work on the DBZ osts are hella tight (come at me elitists, that shit was transformed into bit music for Legend of Goku and Buu’s Fury. That was my gaming childhood)
While he couldn’t hold a candle to Marty O’Donnel, Halo 4’s OST by Neil Davidge and Kazuma Jinnouchi (esp on ‘117’) was great.
