I totally agree, it would have been a great idea to teach piano if it included the bass hand but the developers thought that might be too hard for the average player. So its pretty much pointless since one of the hardest things to master on the keys is synchronicity between bass hand and melody hand(Playing two riffs at once to create one riff is very difficult to get used for most people).

9 years later and you probably got your answer but the non pro keys are just the standard 5 keys like guitar, the pro keys make you use the blacks and stuff
The MIDI adapter that makes it possible to play with a digital piano has an Overdrive button on it. It's not visible in this video, but I am holding the adapter in my other hand. Some people even put it on the floor and step on it like a pedal. Pic: imgur,com/fJFwM

The MIDI adapter that makes it possible to play with a digital piano has an Overdrive button on it. It's not visible in this video, but I am holding the adapter in my other hand. Some people even put it on the floor and step on it like a pedal. Pic: imgur,com/fJFwM

no what i mean is a full size piano with both hands reading sheet music not rock band i played it before and it is easier then what i play on piano
So you can connect an actual piano through a MIDI outlet and play this? How do you know which octave to use? Will it tell you or do you start with middle C?

I have heard that you can connect a 'real' keyboard but I cant seem to find an adapter anywhere. what are you using to connect? is it a standard midi to usb that wouldconnect to a pc?
