Thank you for putting this together. I have been learning this song and this has made it so easy for me.
Thank you Nsera 👍🏼
This is the perfect Keyboard cover that I've been looking for! Thank you for this. David Bryan's a genius.
Thank you so much Julius
I like how you can use newer keyboards to take the instrumentation (program voices) to the next level.
(kind of like what the keyboardists would have done if they would have had access to the newer (higher quality, higher fidelity) samples and the newer sound architectures in some of these boards.
Do you mind taking a few minutes to detail your keyboard splits? I really appreciate the time that you took to do the ones on "the final countdown"... your horns were fantastic in that performance!
Thank you! I use: Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string (intro); Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string + Fast synth + Attacking synth (verse and chorus) (keyboard below). Analog string (upper keyboard left hand); analog string + Raising hammer synth + Power brass + (upper keyboard for right hand)
Wow this is spot on!!
Thank you Chuck
Nice programming, on a note, the Marcato strings continue playing under when the saw pad is played in the verse... 🤪
Awesome! Just incredible. Great song that lives on forever.. and you are one heck of a talented musician! I'll be coming back to this, and rocking along with my guitar. Subbed!
Thank you so much jimmyz!!
Holy CRAP! Nice to have Muti Keyboards to assign Tones/ Patch/ Presets to them. Thx you for this Vid!!! George Amodei
Thank you George!
EXCELENT JOB ..!!! Please what kind of sound do you use?
Thank you Giuss. I use: Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string (intro); Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string + Fast synth + Attacking synth (verse and chorus) (keyboard below). Analog string (upper keyboard left hand); analog string + Raising hammer synth + Power brass + (upper keyboard for right hand)
I ve been looking for this one thank you sir. Great channel. I just subbed
Thank you so much and welcome to the channel!
How do play things so perfect, like im not even saying about the correct tonality or notes those are on another level, even the picking of the correct Synth tone, I wish you were my music teacher.
I really thank you so much. A really nice and appreciated comment.
Great video!
Thank you very much!

(Che pezzone!)
Grazie mille Marco
I had not seen something so great, my friend, you are the best on the synth, my friend, how did you get the sheet music? Greetings from Colombia
Thank you very much! The chords I found them from a simple site where they put lyric and chords. For some parts I got by ear
Really great cover. At the 1.05 minute mark is the patch/sound the right hand playing an organ? I have a roland keyboard and I am trying to find something similar.
A thousand thanks. At 1:05 the right hand plays a set of fast synths
@@themetra1982 Thanks for the quick response. What are fast synths?
I use: Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string (intro); Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string + Fast synth + Attacking synth (verse and chorus) (keyboard below). Analog string (upper keyboard left hand); analog string + Raising hammer synth + Power brass + (upper keyboard for right hand)
Just so you know- David Bryan plays the 5sus and then the major 5 in the choruses! Nice cover!
Thank you
10/10 🤘🤘🏻🤘🏿🤘🏼🤘🏽🤘🏾
Thank you very much
Hi Lord Lore. This is the best livin on a prayer synth video of all the ones out there. Great job of producing compatible voices for this cover. I wish i had a korg kronos. I have a roland rd2000 and a yamaha mx88 and am busy trying to replicate what you have put down. I appreciate your reply to the one asking what voices you are using and while patch names such as attacking synth, hammer synth and other korg names dont help me much i am trying my best to utilize my boards’ patches to create something worthy for my band. I do have one question for you though……
On your Korg, you have a combination of patches to give you that great sound when you play the C D and Em chords in the verses as well as the Em C D/ G C D chords in the choruses, but during the verses you are playing that chopping Eighth note string sound where all other patches are non existent. How did you isolate just a string patch in that spot, as i dont see you hitting any buttons to change splits or anything. Appreciate any further advice you have to offer here.
Hi, thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately, I only know the names of the patches I have on the Kronos. For those three chords in the verse I did a combination of Ana pwer brass and Raising hammer synth. I know they don't help you as names. I can tell you how I reasoned. I went for a nice strong stynt brass sound (like what you would use to make Jump, but softer) and blended in a synth brass sound that would give me a nice clear attack and some reverb
Sapeee 😄

Great 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Rhank you so much
Dude, why aren't you posting anymore? This is the best thing I've seen on youtube.
Very kind! I'm no longer publishing because, with three young daughters, finding the time to study the pieces becomes complicated. I'll definitely post again, I just need to find a way to do it :)
Where did you get those rings 🤔 they’re so cool!
Great authentic sounds, what keyboards are you using? And what camera do use for the overhead shot?
Thank you. I use a Korg Kronos (Lower keyboard), Novation Impulse 61 (upper: masterkey slave connected to Kronos)
I just use my IPad for the overhead shot.
Forzza Italia e italiani. Much love from Iran ❤
Grazie mille Michael
Where did you get the tinkle sample from at the beginning of the song? That’s hard to find or even isolate
I still put the original track in the background (pan moved).
@@themetra1982 ahhh ok, so you didn’t get the sample yourself. I guess that’s one way to do it lol
U rock man , thanks !
Thank you Keinth
Very nice work! Could you please send me the keyboard part (only) to create a guitar cover playback?
Sorry, but I didn't keep the registration file. Eventually when I have some time I can see to do it again.
Спасибо большое за клавишную партию, как раз нужно разучить эту песню. Правда, у меня только одна клавиатура) Придётся адаптировать...
Thank you very much for the keyboard part, I just have a necessary to learn this song. But, I have only one keyboard) We'll have to adapt it...
With good programming you can do it all
@@themetra1982 do you mean samples? I try to not use them, and play only by hands) My Korg X50 can't play samples, so I need to use additional devices
@@XanderSob not samples. I intend to program the sounds to be able to play different timbres within the same keyboard. Splitting the sounds into zones
It's too much timbres for 5-octave instrument. And chords are wide) This weekend I will try to split the keyboard, but it looks like I'll have to sacrifice some notes)
Anyway, thank you for your help !
@@XanderSob Unfortunately, with just a keyboard there are two ways to go about it. Either simplify the amount of timbres and give up on something, or create sound programs and switch, during the song, from one program to another (see Jordan Rudess who controls everything from a single keyboard).
What voice sounds do you use for each keyboard/section please
I use: Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string (intro); Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string + Fast synth + Attacking synth (verse and chorus) (keyboard below). Analog string (upper keyboard left hand); analog string + Raising hammer synth + Power brass + (upper keyboard for right hand)
Can you please do Always by bonjovi
I'll think about it, thanks for your appreciation and advice
Complimenti
Grazie!
Cari Tutornya BLOOD N BLOOD for keyboard ga Ono😅
how do you get this kind of synth sound?
I use different sounds: Stereo analog strings, Vintage 80 saw, Ana power brass, Rising hammer synth, attack synth, powerfull euphoria
what is the sound? on yamaha cp4?
I'm sorry, I've never had a Yamaha, I couldn't tell you what it corresponds to.
@@themetra1982 what Is the sinth?
@@enricosxo95 I use Korg Kronos for sound: Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string (intro); Vintage 80 warm saw + Analog string + Fast synth + Attacking synth (verse and chorus) (keyboard below). Could you release a sheet music version?
I play the simple chords of the song, nothing complicated. :)
Goof for you
Thank you very much
Playback 👍
It's not playing back. The original song and my sound are panned differently. can you distinguish them.
