Abby, I love that you did a video on MFK! I love their fragrances! I started out with a discovery set and fell in love with most of them. I love Baccarat, Gold, Aqua Univeralis, the rose one. I need to try mixing the Gold & Silver because Silver is not my favorite. And I need to add Grand Soir to my collection. I’m glad you have also fallen in love with their fragrances! 😊❤️

Great review!🥰 My absolute favorite from MFK is oud satin mood, followed by GFG ♥️ I’m eyeing on aqua universalis, i just dont know which one to get, the edp or the forte 😅 I havent sampled the forte yet.

I love many MFK fragrances but Baccarat Rouge 540 and Oud Silk Mood are the two in my collection at this moment. I ALWAYS get compliments on Baccarat Rouge any time I'm wearing it. Grand Soir might be the next addition--it's so nice!
Can’t believe Fragrance Friday came again so soon! Time is flying…100% accord here: I have the same MFK collection, except no Pluriel, and Extrait versions of 540 and Oud Satin Mood-the Satin is also my fave! It’s definitely in my top 3 for Winter. Your description of it is spot on! I call it “rich ‘n chewy “. And, I had same experience with 540: was browsing in an accessory store over holidays 2019 that stocked it, sprayed extrait on a tester strip, and for the next few days the handbag holding the strip perfumed the entire closet; I was enchanted by the long lasting, fruity (to me) scent and had to go out and buy it. I also love GF Gold for summer. I have Grand Soir, but it pulled masculine on me so never wear it. BUT, I just went and pulled it out, and now that it’s sat for nearly a year, it indeed smells like the vanilla amber you describe, which I crave. Can’t wait to try it anew come Fall! Thank you for this video! It’s make me go back to this amazing perfumes!!! I would recommend to try “Le a Beau Perfume” if you will be able to find it, I believe it was limited addition. And APOM femme ! Amazing! Smell like your skin but better! When I don’t know what to wear I grab that one! It’s make me feel safe for some reason!

Ooh... this is tough! I know you like Gentle Fluidity Gold. I find it has similar vibes to 540! But more of vanilla -amber. Pluriel is a gorgeous feminine chypre floral! Almost old school but so uber feminine. Eek! This is hard! Let me know what you are leaning towards and I can help. xoxo

724 is a lovely scent. It’s like a white crisp button up type of scent. Very classy and refreshing and not demanding at all. Unlike Grand Soir, you can wear 724 all the time , as the name implies. 724 is how the French say 24/7 hahaha
I haven't purchased a new MFK in a couple of years, but I liked going through the international site and ordering directly from Paris, especially for sample sets, because they are really too precious to blind buy. I have full sizes and wear regularly, Amryis Femme Extrait (that's my classy lady scent!), Aqua Celestia Forte, A la Rose Homme (I didn't like the feminine version so much), and Oud Satin Mood. Francis Kurkdjian has historically made some of my favorite designer fragrances, so I'm excited to see what he comes up with for the house of Dior. 🥰

I am one of those ppl who are absolutely in love with mfk fragrances but don’t own any, I just spray them everyone I’m in the store😆…but I do plan on treating myself soon. Oud satin mood is at the top of my list!…also have you tried 724? It’s so lovely, sweet, laundry fresh💙

My favorite is Oud Silk Mood vs. Oud Satin Mood, but I understand what you mean about the fragrance!

I have the sample set and from that Aqua Vitae Cologne Forte was my favorite so I just ordered that. It smells like a person sitting under citrus trees warmed by the sun skin+ soft vanilla. Perfect for “you are not supposed to wear fragrance to work” scent.
I love that one too. If you get a chance, try Petit Matin. It’s also a fresh, citrusy scent which reminds me of sitting at a Paris cafe in the morning.

I have Gentle Fluidity, i have Amyrris, i have Ala Rose and Pluriel. For me my favs are the later two. I like to layer them both, and voila! I feel super feminine and pretty!! I cant stand Baccarat 549, i tried it twice and NOPE. ❤
MFK fragrances, in my opinion, are one of the best in terms of value for money (the scent, longevity etc.). For beginners I would absolutely recommend the discovery sets for her and him (35 EUR in EU) - the best curated and cheapest (!!) discovery set from a niche perfume brand that I have bought.
My favourite is Grand Soir, hands down - absolutely addictive, it's like catnip to me.
I would also love to get full-size bottles of Gentle Fluidity Gold (such a universally likable, cosy scent), Baccarat rouge extrait and Oud Satin Mood.
I also like the scent of A la rose, and normally I'm not even attracted to rose scents, however, that one has a relatively short longevity.
On the whole, I would definitely recommend MFK fragrances, but you just have to find your one, so - start with the discovery sets.

MFK is a beautiful house, though a bit overprized. I'm french and I can tell that french people aren't the best clients for MFK because of their price point. Baccarat Rouge, smells like band aid and hospitals in the drydown, to my nose. All the others you mentionned I really do love. They are beautiful and good quality. But for now, i rather spend my money on some Matière Première perfumes, or Memo Paris, or Floraiku, BDK, Serge Lutens....HAve a beautiful and great day dear Abby!

Hi Abby! I love amber fragrances so had to get MFK Grand Soir (love!). I also have the Gentle Fluidity Gold but loved the slightly more crisp Silver as well. What did you think of the Baccarat Rouge Extrait? This summer I have fallen head over heels for the Harmonists Sacred Water and want get my nose on more from the line. Hello Jamila!! So I do really like the Extrait but can't smell it as much on myself. LOL The original is a bit more potent to me. BUT the MFK rep suggested that I spray both on and WOW - that is a great combo but an $$$ combo as well. AND yes, I have the Harmonist Sample Set!! I actually liked so many that I could not decide what to get. SO I will definitely do a Fragrance Friday on the Harmonist. Woo hoo! xoxo

I tried MFK’s oud silk mood extract and it reminds me of Jo Malone’s Oud velvet Rose. Not sure if anyone has noticed that.

LOL! I was just looking at all the colors myself. So I have both the Cotton and the Cashmere - and I do love them equally! I love Cashmere so I have a few more of those but I bought a cotton one this year and adore it. I think you can't go wrong with either xoxo

I feel sad i tried two fragrances by MFK and i didnt like either. the gentle fluidity gold smells like wet wipes at the nursing home and Baccarat smells to me laughing gas mask at the dentist with faintest cotton candy scent around it. the nurses where the dupes like from Zara and u instantly know when someone wheres it and it makes me sick. Whats wrong with me everyone loves these. is there a reason i mean not only is br540 a ghost scent on me the moments i do smell it i want to throw up 🤢

Penina- you made me laugh! I have had some fragrances that made me feel that way too. It is A-OKAY. You don't have to like this brand. AND I know that 540 is very polarizing. You either love it or hate it. If you ever have a chance to smell his other scents - then you might change your mind. BUT the good news is that there are plenty of other perfumes out there to enjoy. xoxo
