This fragrance is one that’s been more difficult to find lately. Just a combination of being a great scent and working very well for this season. It’s been on my short list awhile. MFK is one of my favorite houses. That 10% off at Twisted Lily price linked in the video description is the best price I’ve seen on any online discounter websites period. The only MFK frag I have as of right now is BR 540 extrit and that alone has definitely turned me on to this house, I mean, I have heard about this fragrance house for quite some time now, but never really bought into the hype until BR 540 X St., but since then I’ve really just been wanting more of what this house has to offer…😊

I picked this up on Black Friday. I'm not a Tonka Bean fan.... But this is the best Tonka Bean/Amber. MFK are the real deal.

This is a masterpiece . If I could describe it it’s a bit of a mix of jazz club mixed in with spicebomb extreme 😂. That’s what I get anyways . It’s an absolutely stunning fragrance for colder winter nights out , dressed up 😊

Bro.....I went into Nieman Marcus and purchased a discovery set with some samples and this was one of them......first time getting into niche frags and it's a whole new world from designer frags. The price on these makes me cringe extremely hard but as I constantly sniff my wrist, I slowly not giving a damn about the price anymore. This is ridiculously fabulous.

Maison Francis Kurkdjan grand soir.
A warm, smoky and refined Amber.
Reddish resin that comes from conifers, its name derived from the Greek "Ambriosos" means immortal, and this perfume in 50 years will not have taken a wrinkle.
I was afraid that it would be sweet, but it is not the case, if not by the black and natural pod of its Vanilla. For the non-dominant Tonka is positioned in the background and with restraint ...
and THAT, my friends, is very good. By imposing this one as the dominant note in all Orientals this past decade, the flame between it and me ended up being extinguished.
I got sick of it, going from "I love it, it's one of my favorite olfactory notes" to "Again? they don't have anything else on hand or something" because it dominates and tyrannizes the other notes. At the time when Pierre Hermé claimed that he hated Tonka, I was thinking "How is that possible?" now I understand better. Anyway, here it only serves as a support and so much the better, just like Cistus.
A creamy, dimensional scent that evolves slowly. I prefer it after 1 hour.
It reminds me a bit of Dior "Vanilla Diorama" as on my skin it reveals itself spicy as a mix of Cardamom, Patchouli and African Cinnamon (from Ceylon or Madagascar).
In conclusion, I thought at first that it was boring and banal...
After an hour of evolution, I completely change my mind.

Grand soir is very a Killer Fragrance for Date Night.
He has done some absolute killers for sure!! So many OUTSIDE of his own brand... Dior Homme Cologne, Le Male (and many flankers), Carven(s), Davidoff CW Wave, and about all of the Mr. Burberry line...just to name a few.
You guys should try armaf radical it's a masterpiece in my book

No one is backing this up as a date night fragrance. I'm assuming because the beast mode performance. 'Aggressive alluring' might be the best description for it.
Mix it with Maison Margiela's Jazz Club and you are ready to go for a hole day in winter

I like this so much more than BR540
I’ve been wanting to get into MFK & they have samples to try on their website for affordable prices. What would you recommend for a 24 year old? I dress business casual for work and have more fresh scents than warm scents because Cali is always warm. I was looking at the aqua scents they have.
They are all suited for business casual. I suggest sampling several to find the one forbyou

BTW Amber Nuit by Christian Dior smells so good too. Similar in a way but a little more spicy.

Just got a decant of this. Very nice but not full bottle worth for me. I have DHP and although they don’t smell the same I feel like they’re intended for a similar occasion, and I can’t see myself reaching for Grand Soir over DHP in any scenario 😅
