Shedeur can be coached by anyone. He’s receptive to moving beyond his father being his coach. He’s intelligent enough to understand that it was going to happen one day. He’s extremely mature and ready for making his way great.

Cam Ward hardly ever runs. Only when he has to. But, he is a little more of a threat with his legs than Shedeur. The difference is Shedeur is more of a dink and dunk the ball down the field, pick you apart qb. Ward is more of a big playmaker, homerun hitter because he can make throws that a lot can't (including Shedeur) with his arm talent.

Sanders had a 30% top line versus a 60% defense, Ward was 25% vs 40%. People keep saying the line, but look at the throws, the situation, and placement. Top WR normally get 20-22% target, Hunter got 40% targets. Meaning Sanders doesn't read the field or had his mind set pre snap.
Shedeur seems like he has very average speed. I wonder about the mobility.
How about we just accept that this qb class is terrible and both QBs will be bad

Cam is more adequate at the position. They're both elite but cam mentally is better. He makes his decisons quick and precisely, shedeur on the other hand is not as mentally sound.

The lights were much brighter in Colorado for Shedeur, his line was much worse, they were on TV every game, and he still performed. It’s unlikely that Cam will ever be as popular as Shedeur, just give Shedeur a line to work with. I’ll pick Cam as the stronger arm, and Shedeur as the QB who’s ready for Prime Time, no pun intended.
Miami was on tv just as much as Colorado if not more and they played a harder schedule. Miamis first game was against Florida AT Florida, Colorado's was against North Dakota. The lights were bright at Colorado because Deion is the coach but Miami is always in the spotlight because of the history of the program. Cam Ward was a beast at Washington and he made Miami a national title contender in his 1st season

Colorado gets attention because of Deion. Miami gets attention because of their brand. When Deion leaves, Colorado's attention will fade. Miami gets attention no matter who the coach is

I’m actually higher on both Shedeur and Ward compared to others. I think Ward is just as talented as any QB to come out over the past 5 years, he just has less reps vs elite competition compared to guys like Jayden Daniels, CJ Stroud, Bryce Young, Caleb Williams, etc. And I don’t think there’s a QB in the last 5 years that’s tougher than Shedeur. Yes he holds onto the ball too long, but some of these hits he takes, he just pops right back up and keeps the chains moving. I think both guys can be stars.

Coach Prime said around this time is when media starts to downgrade the top draft picks and they should ignore the noise. Hope Cam and Shedeur are doing that. Whatever hang up Newton has with Shedeur, he needs to let it go. First he downs him because he doesn’t have that win even though Shedeur could only play the teams they put in front of him. Cam Ward balled out at Washington State the year before Mia folks. Let’s not act like he hasn’t lifted a mediocre team on his shoulders as well. S. Sanders has the most upside because he’s battle tested under constant scrutiny and the bright lights. The kid don’t fold when pressure is on and he makes really good decisions with the ball when it matters. In the NFL it’s all about being able to consistently make good decisions under pressure and 2 has proven he can handle pressure. I think 2 has the most potential to be that dude in the league as long as he has a stable organization behind him. Ward will be Geno Smith 2.0 at best. No disrespect!

Judging by that ranking Quinn Ewers is extremely underrated. He’s definitely a better quarterback than Milroe
This is why the public doesn’t handle the draft. You don’t draft based on who the QBs currently are you draft based off a combination of who they are and who they can be if they hit their peak. Milroe gives a team a potential star compared to Ewers who’s likely a backup/Sam Darnold type journeyman
