Thank you for sharing, I am going on a cruise in May of next year with my guide dog McKee. It is our first adventure on a cruise ship too. I have all the confidence in the world and him and getting us around and targeting things. Did you get a tour of the ship when you arrived on it to help figure where things out. I am a solo traveler. I don’t have anyone that travels with me so it’s me and my guide dog. I relay rely a lot on my dog and his talents. Also have a question. What ship were you on? And I agree the amount of paperwork to get these dogs onto the ship is incredible. I am going over the paperwork right now for my Alaskan cruise and right now. I believe there’s at least nine different forms. I will have to have filled out so uncalled for thanks for sharing. I look forward to cruising with my dog.
Hello John. You are such a motivator. I always get lost on cruise ships - especially the larger ones. You seem to do better than me and I have no visual impairment. My son is registered disabled and 95% wheelchair dependent. He has an assistance dog Phoebe - a Labrador who is qualified. We are about to embark on our first cruise with MSC taking her along. Do you have any experience of that cruise line? I subscribed to you today. Peter.
Hello John, I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I want to thank you for this information and video as this kind of information is just not out there. I am classified as blind and I did have a beautiful Guide Dog called Lauren. Unfortunately she got cancer and I had to make the awful decision to let her go to sleep. I am heartbroken without Lauren by my side. We went everywhere together and we travelled too. I laughed out loud when you said about half the people on the cruise ship knew Eagle's name! It was the same with me when Lauren, my husband and myself went on holiday, all the hotel staff knew her name and would greet her, as would people in various shops and coffee shops. Lauren loved the attention as she was quite the diva. Anyways thank you again for this information and I love your art work too. By the way, I'm from Northern Ireland. Please give Eagle a big cuddle from me. Best wishes to you 🙋♀️
