  • We are over the moon to walk you through some of the initial in's and out's of our brand new 15TB camp that we just drove back from Denver, Colorado! We give you a full rundown of our initial experiences and share some of the upcoming plans to maximize this baby! You can also expect a persona walk-through that shows a few of the details you can expect if a Geo Pro 15TB or E-Pro 15TB is on your radar!
    Happy to recommend Green River Journey KOA Campground in #greenriver Utah which is featured in our video! And we loved Trailer World in Denver where we purchased our camper!

      Hi Jeff! We absolutely LOVE the 15TB. Lou has since done many modifications; we have a playlist that features them :) And we have more to come like swapping out the larger 3 burner for a narrow/smaller two burner and swapping out the countertop so that we have more kitchen top space.

    Hi Lou and Rachel! I saw your vid posted on the 15TB owners FB group and am excited that someone with this little TT is going to make some videos. I've got a 2021.0 Geo Pro 15TB that I absolutely love. How's towing with your Gladiator? My TV's a Tacoma Offroad and wish it had a bit more power when I'm pulling my 15TB. Not ready to give up the Taco, though. Most of the time I'm not towing, and when I'm not the truck is great!

      Hey Lou. Great name by the way. Our Gladiator struggled a little with the bigger grades through the mountains of CO & UT. We have the 3.6. But overall it did really well. Got about 11mpg on the trip from Denver to Vegas. We were originally going to pull it with our Wrangler, but I felt better with the higher towing capacity of the Gladiator. We plan on having lots of adventures and will video them. Thanks for the comments and hope we can interact more in the future.

    I wish they made the larger trailers with twins beds or a king size bed.

    • @thesouthwestwanderers
      @thesouthwestwanderers  2 года назад +2

      I think there may be a few options out there, but it probably requires some deep digging. Ironically, we ended up converting ours to a full size bed (down from a King) so that we could have bench space and table to eat :)

    love the videos! With two people in it how often are you wamting something larger like the 19FD for space and storage? The Mojave would do fine with it but it's right at the limit for my 4runner..

    • @thesouthwestwanderers
      @thesouthwestwanderers  2 года назад +2

      Thank you! We just purchased our 15TB less than a year ago so we’ll keep her for a bit. It is the perfect size for the types of adventures we plan to do. The 19FD has an excellent layout but our Mojave would struggle towing something that size. We live in the land of elevation changes and mountains, so it is slow as molasses sometimes even just towing the 15TB (shocking i know!). 😊

    How are your bathroom walls holding up? Are they delaminating? I’ve seen reviews people say they are just checking with real owners if they are or aren’t.

    Congrats 🎈 We have been camping now a little over a year & half. We started with a 19 and now own a Imagine 22mle. Some advice keep it simple and light. Other then perhaps doing some technically/ stuff ? Remember to keep the battery 🔋 switch on when towing and at campsite incase of a power outage. Your 12V fridge stays on. Happened to us twice. Your going to love the fridge while driving; it Will littering keep ice cream frozen as you drive down the road if you have a 7 pin connection.. Anyway happy excursions 🇺🇸

      Our Mojave Gladiator has 6000 tow capacity and we have the tow package. The weight of camper comes in well below, but Zombie still struggled a bit on those steep grades in Colorado -but not too bad!!! Here are all the stats on the camper! She is really well made especially compared to our last (bigger) one. I hope you get one!!! ♥️ forestriverinc.com/rvs/travel-trailers/flagstaff-e-pro/E15TB/4361

    Hi, Thank you for your video.... :) I am looking at this exact trailer and I have a Jeep Wrangler Sahara JL with tow package. A little worried the Jeep may not be able to handle it, did you have any issues? I think your Jeep has more tow capacity than the Sahara.......Are you happy with the overall quality?

    • @loupintarelli5275
      @loupintarelli5275 2 года назад +1

      Hey Jerri. Our Gladiator has a 6000lbs tow capacity while I believe your Wrangler will be around 3500lbs. The 15TB will still be able to handle it. Get a brake controller. Just because you can tow the weight doesn’t mean you can easily stop that weight. We also have a weight distribution hitch to help with sway.
      We follow a Facebook page called Jeeps and GeoPros and there’s Wranglers pulling the 19 footers.
      Your gas mileage will be horrible but that’s expected. You’ll have trouble ascending a mountain. But it shouldn’t take away from your adventures.

      @@loupintarelli5275 Thank you Lou, I just sold my RV Class C, I want my Jeep on my trips to explore so decided to try a small TT. If I go the TT route, I won't be doing any long trips, and I will try and avoid mountains too... You're right, my tow cap is 3500 so I know this is probably too much weight, I may need to go even smaller. Thanks for the info, really appreciate it, I'm a newbie to towing.

      @loupintarelli5275 2 года назад

      Yes we have a Redarc Tow-Pro Elite. I removed the cigarette lighter socket on out Jee and placed it there like the factory controller. It’s always recommended to have a brake controller with trailers that have electric brakes.
