my grandma lost her son when he was 17 in a car accident. That was almost 50 years ago. She still cries when someone mentions his name. My grandpa once said to me that the worst thing he experienced in his life wasn't during the war, but after, when his son died. My grandparents who went through second world war still can't talk about the death of their son without crying. The fact that this woman is so casually and cold about the death of her child is disgusting.
That’s so true, I’m sorry for their loss. My Polish grandparents were also in the war and lost a child. The horrors of the camps weren’t as hard as losing their first baby, my Grammy cried anytime she was mentioned. Someone said there is a word for children who’ve lost their parents, but none for parents who’ve their child, it’s too horrific.
I would rather die than lose a child. I probably would if I did. The pain would be immeasurable. I am sorry your grandparents had to cary that pain for all these years. People like this woman are baffling.
Exactly, losing a child is the most painful thing to experience. I've been lucky enough not to have so far suffered from that kind of loss. I hope they're both doing okay 👍
The fact that she laughs & finds humour in discussing the possible things that could have caused the sickness in her daughter just blows my mind. Unimaginably evil person. Wonder how many other people met their demise thru her.
I’m always so impressed with the interrogations in all these cases. Imagine being kind and relatable to the most vile people who’ve done the most horrific shit. I could never do this job.
@@fixlana You catch more flies with honey than with shit, or something like that. The criminal is like _"And then I slit his throat..."_ The detective: _"U huh, okay, interesting. What happened next?",_ when he has to throw up a little.
@@fixlana I can tell immediately that she’s lying by the tone of her voice not even with the answers per se, so I’m sure the detectives know they’re dealing with a murderer from get go even if they can’t yet prove it. That kind of makes me think it motivates them more to catch her or whoever else is lying to them
I am actually very happy & proud to have such a great detective in the world. This man rlly chose his career wisely. I hope he stays that way. So well mannered & professional, while getting SO much out of her at the same time.... Now she on the other hand, only made it in her nursing career so long, bc of her ability to deceive ppl so we'll while remaining so calm. She has NO heart. I'm so happy she was put away, 1 less sick nurse in the field, 99.99999999999999% left to go.
Absolutely. Cops are just manipulative liars and if people knew about the reid technique and their rights in general then they wouldn’t say a word to a detective ever
It would be so souldestroying to have to say those words to an actual monster, after sitting in a room with them and talking to them like they are human. Grateful for the competent detectives who can do this.
Sadly, the person that loses the most is the 11 year old. Her dad & brother are dead, her oldest sister is disabled & her other sister & mom are in prison for life. What does this little girl have left, nobody. She goes into foster care in hopes that she will be treated at least decent until she is eighteen. What a terrible childhood this girl has had. My prayers go out to this young sweet soul of a child. 💝
Of course all the people dying is really really bad for her but she's not losing much with this "mother" Definitely better off without her, as sad as that is.
@@zwenkwiel816 I totally agree, but tbh the adoption and foster system is almost as bad. Children are often left broken with mental and emotional issues because of abuse, mistreatment, and neglect by their caretaker and the system itself.
She only put "a little bit" of antifreeze in their drinks because she "didn't want to hurt them". I don't add *any* antifreeze to to my friends' CocaCola, but maybe I'm over cautious.
@@sabaidee5587doubtful. Because psychopaths are dishonest by nature, they can't maintain an honest job. This is an interrogator well versed in how psychopaths function. (psychopaths usually team up and when reduced to a pair, one ends up under the bus)
@@sabaidee5587 that's a big stretch. Interrogators are trained in the art. They deal with not just phycopaths but many mental disorders. Just becsuse you understand the nature of something or someone doesn't mean you are them. They repulse me like no one else, but if I had to ACT in a certain manner to catch one I would. It does make me like them in the least.
Yea seriously that was nuts. Also the “I just snapped” logic doesn’t really work when you’re slowly poisoning someone to death over many days. That was premeditated murder, no two ways about it.
I wish I had a nickel for each time she stated 'i really don't know'... 'i wouldn't know'...'i have no clue,'... THIS MAN HAS THE PATIENCE OF A SAINT ...
@@profd65 his way of doing the investigation isn't important, what's important is he does his job in getting her to provide as much details as possible to ensure conviction or an arrest...
A great interrogation tatic to build positive rapport and use active listening skills to coax the suspect to confession their crimes in detail, 9/10 the officer already have all the facts from CSI + coroner reports, and their objective is to get a detail confession to make the charges stick, rapport is one hell of a tool.
His strategic use of silence here throughout the interview is expert level. He doesn't keep firing questions, but instead pauses sometimes to cause her maximum discomfort
And the way he crept closer and closer, increasing the physical tension without her realizing until he was basically in her face. He had her literally cornered.
Yep. Absolutely. Why in the world these people don't just shut up and ask for a lawyer is beyond comprehension. I suppose clinging to the hope that they can talk their way out.
This is one of the best interrogations I've ever seen in all my years of studying and researching true crime. He was patient, showed empathy, used straight forward tactics without forcing or twisting anything and, as someone mentioned in the comments, kept inching closer and closer to Diane all throughout the interrogation. Next level pro. Genius.
Dang, I’m a cardiac RN. When she said she’s a cardiology nurse that hit me like a ton of bricks. Wonder how many patients she’s harmed, if she’s willing to harm her own family. Scary as hell, man
You’d think they would control who becomes a DR there should be mental health checks you have to do before you waste your time going to school to become a Dr. That shits crazy
@@kelly.nicole She was dealing with a disabled child, her husband was a drinker...the system is screwing people over and these anomalies will happen. The capitalist system is a rort
@@kelly.nicoleThere are checks for doctors, in the sense that there is hugely low acceptance rate, you have to show you can carry a huge and difficult workload well, and multiple references checked, multiple interviews, and multiple background checks, including getting finger-printed and criminal background checked…with only 1 in a 100 applicants accepted (varies a bit by school). But is there a perfect test for “will they commit future crimes?” Only in the movies. But…these were RNs/nurses, a very tough field that has a need for workers, and nurses can’t be spread thin like doctors (a doctor can oversee and wrote orders/check tests for 50 hospitalized patients, but a nurse can’t safely monitor and care for that many patients and so are in huge demand). I can’t speak to the criteria for nurses, but sure they exist and also sure that no test or application process can perfectly screen out the very few odd or criminal ones.
This detective is my favourite. He was relentless but has long pauses which makes the suspects feel anxious and they want to say something to fill the void of silence. He’s brilliant.
I have seen much more convincing and clever detectives. This man stumbles over his words, sounds scared, and sounds like he is lying; she has to know all of this.
Heeeyy I work for an insurance company reviewing claims. I love my job too. My favorite part is when I get to tell my claimants they're getting a huge amount of money. Least favorite part is having to deny anyone. It's heartbreaking every time. We all aren't psychopaths.
I work for an insurance company reviewing claims and I love it as well. I go out of my way to help clients and they love dealing with me. What's that got to do with anything? Lots of doctors and nurses love their jobs, too. It doesn't mean that they love to see people suffer 🙄
Scary to imagine how many people were murdered like this, presumed to have died naturally, and never investigated because the killer only did it the once...
And unless they are specifically looking for anti-freeze, they won't notice it. So yeah probably lots of ppl got away with it. Women are more prone to poison someone when they murder. I bet lotsa guilty widows out there! 🥺
Her body language too…her legs started out crossed away from him but her arms became a barrier at some point. I wonder if it was his moving closer to her is what caused her shift..
23/09/22 EDIT: What some people are failing to understand with my comment, is this ‘woman’, is not only calm (cold) when discussing the deaths of her 2 x children, but she is able to give the exact amounts that they were insured for. And her dead husband. Then She claimed the life insurances quite quickly after their deaths. When my son died, I never even knew if he had life insurance, let alone if he had more than one. And his fiancée knew even less about that stuff then I did. So for the suspicious minds stating she needs to be looked at, check yourselves. She is a beautiful person and was devastated when Jaie died. Also, thank you for the kind people acknowledging my family’s loss. When my youngest son died suddenly, I had to help his fiancee to claim his life insurances. We were both gibbering, confused blobs of emotion. We struggled to function at a basic level even. This ‘thing’ is so cold.
Why would they? They don’t give a damn about other people, don’t make a mistake. All they want is to close the case asap following the easiest way, no matter if the suspects are really guilty (I’ve seen it many times on this same channel). They are not there to help anyone, don’t fool yourself.
@@user-gj1me4mf5c --That’s true at this time, but I’d bet it hasn’t always been true. I’m thinking she practiced this at some earlier point in her life. Wonder if her parents were ever dependent on her🫣

@@tcmenez3648 very sad. Unfortunately there are evil moms. Diane Downs. Susan Smith. Andrea Yates. Darlie Routier. To name a few .Absolutely heartbreaking.
My brother has schizophrenia & was living in a group home. Once, when we visited him there, Sarah (the daughter this woman tried to kill) was living there & she was in the common area. She came over to talk to us & introduced herself. She told us that she was the one that her mother tried to murder! She had some issues, but seemed fairly normal. She was there at the group home because she wasn't able to live on her own, though. So very sad what was done to her!
@@ganymeade5151I think she was perfectly functional before her mom poisoned her, which is even more sad. the son had disabilities, though, and she took him out too, so who knows
He did fantastic job, so calm and non reactive. So much smoother than the 2 on 1 interrogation videos out there where they pressure it out of the suspect. This guy is cool as a cucumber.
It’s a menatal illness physcho have 0 empathy that’s how their brain works sometimes they stays inactive in society and sometimes they take action in things but yeah as a nurse she could do so many things to her patients without caring that much …
Imagine finding out your mom is the one who put you to the brink of death. Then finding out she is the reason your brother and father were killed the same way. Unreal.
my mom is just like this lady. its terrifying growing up with someone like this. you dont play games or challenge her, always make sure shes pleased with you, entertain her so she doesnt get bored, but play dumb so she doesnt target you. sleep with a knife under your pillow on nights when things feel off in the house. dissociate a lot. hide your true feelings 24/7. Keep the peace. Keep HER peace. If the food that night tastes off just tell her you're too full. Throw it out. pretend to believe everything she tells you even if you know its a lie. and if youre going to leave home, do it permanently. Do not go back. As a minor theres nothing you can usually do unless you have undenuable proof that your life is in danger. Theyre very good at manipulating others into liking them when they have stake in the game. Otherwise they'll brag about their crimes instead.
@ouchthathurt.6659 I am truly sorry for the torture you had to endure, yet I can relate. I was 13 years old when I finally had enough of the physical, verbal, emotional and psychological abuse from mine so I packed up my backpack with all my underwear, a change of clothes and some fruit, got on the city bus to the other side of town to my best friend's house (thinking I'd go to school from her house and get a job at the corner donut shop 🤣😒), and never went back to live with her. Oddly, though, I was the only one of her children speaking with her at her death, and held her hand as she passed away.
There is no such thing as evil, only a lack of empathy and excessive narcissism. Not mental illnesses, but extreme manifestations of normal personality characteristics. Labeling people as evil is too simplistic and denies that these traits exist in some level in us all.

The fact that this woman tried to sit here and convince a detective that her poisoned family members were just drinking antifreeze by choice is so mind boggling to me
Evan--I KNOW!!!!Omg this reminds me of that case of STACY CASTOR. The "Black Widow" that poisoned BOTH of her husbands and then tried to frame it on her own daughter when she attempted to kill her, too! And Stacy also used ANTIFREEZE as her weapon of choice in the murders of BOTH of her husbands. She actually got away with the first one... (and if she would have had her first husband cremated instead of buried, she probably would have got away with killing husband number 2..) But anyway, she, too tried to make people believe that her husband, Randy was "drinking antifreeze by choice." Smh. Yep. She said he was severely suicidal & depressed, and he locked himself in their bedroom for a couple of days and was drinking heavily, mixing whiskey with antifreeze. Now here's the kicker... he had TWO LOADED FIREARMS in that bedroom! A handgun, and I believe a rifle-(?) in the closet. Need I say more? Lol this crazy bitch actually thought people would believe that a man hell-bent on suicide would choose an agonizing death with antifreeze while he had two loaded guns at his disposal! Come on now! Unbelievable. Literally unbelievable because a jury convicted her. But I absolutely agree with you that most people would not choose suicide by antifreeze poisoning! I know some people have done it, but it's extremely rare.
I couldnt imagine your dad and brother both dying and then you almost die just to survive and find out your mom poisoned all of you, it makes me feel so sad for Sarah

What frustrates me is how she got away with two murders already and it took a third attempt to get them to test more thoroughly. One, okay. Two in same family should trigger additional autopsy tests.
My thoughts exactly! Like how did they not find that suspicious that they died so close together and from the same exact circumstances. Blamed The husband's bad health and choices in life and the kids underlying health issues. Um really? 🤦🏼♀️

Released two bodies who were actually murdered without triggering any investigation until the third victim triggered a deeper investigation?
I love how he’s leaning on her as the medical “expert” and pretending to be dumbfounded. Beautiful tactics. Totally put her at ease and let her feel empowered and more intelligent while slowly reeling her in.
It's a weird tactic because she would be expected to be more aware, emergency cautious, and less likely to discuss specifics with someone outside health care.
She’s playing stupid too. She said she’s a cardiac nurse- I’m only a nursing student & I can tell she’s clearly making herself seem unaware of how things work.
@chrisderksen2224 I agree with you. This detective showed professionalism, calm, restraint and respect for a complete monster. He needs not only a raise but to be promoted. Top job, A+ in my book.

@@broughtbackin oh I've watched just about everything to do with that case. Super interesting. I'm in Ontario as well so not too far away from where that happened!
Just her laughing and giggling gives her away, she’s so concerned with coming across as a good, sweet person and forgets to even try faking concern and worry
Most of us feel pain ourselves just seeing another person or animal hurt. But to some, that is a foreign concept and they are indifferent to hurting others if it benefits them. Interrogators have said people like that often have difficulty “faking” a normal human reaction and stand out, even accounting for people varying in how they deal with grief or stress.
This detective is incredibly apt. He speaks gently and sternly, and leaves long uncomfortable pauses so the suspect feels forced to keep talking. Absolutely brilliant.
The heaviness of knowing you killed your husband and son. She's truly cold hearted and tried to kill her daughter. She talked about her daughter like she was garbage saying she was bipolar.
Kudos to the detective. He knew exactly how to talk to her based on her personality. Stayed even tempered and soft spoken the whole time even when it had to be frustrating.
It’s strange too that she hasn’t cried, asked about her dying child, look distressed, upset or any emotion besides being slightly sweet and very calm.😶 it’s absolutely spine chilling!!!
Yes, the long pauses, his comforting demeanor. Kept me on the edge. I felt like screaming at her! I wanted him to confront her directly, but he played it so well getting her to expose herself. He worked the REID technique very, very well.
@@teresaflorida I would be a horrible detective! I completely agree- he was so calm and collected it was amazing. I think I’d be yelling a couple minutes in 😂
@@vovahimself Someone who was innocent would VERY fiercely defend the fact that it was impossible for the tests to be positive.. because they know that they weren’t there. For someone guilty, they’d be more compelled to give a vague answer so they can explain the positive tests since they know that they were there. A person who is confident and angry that they are being accused of something and defends their story is most likely innocent… while someone who leaves it up to interpretation is more likely guilty.
His interrogation of her also evil daughter (helped with poisoning) is even better. One of the best I've seen. He circles around and repeats questions from before in a subtle way. I still can't believe she fell for it every time! He probably interrogated her like that because she spoke before thinking, unlike her mother.
I'm still at the very beginning 6:03 I love a good investigator, interrogation or interview, as we say. It is an art and a science. Looking forward to this. Hope it's as good as you say😂❤
@sunnyadams5842 I'm amazed how they can go home and still live normally in society after spending hours in the presence of a psychopath. It must be hard to switch off what they've heard. They are amazing. It makes me sad to see people disrespectful towards police officers... They are a team. They do so much for society and make huge sacrifices in their personal life.
An incredible interview. The way he slowly moves closer as the pressure builds. Good silences and eye contact. Half way through she starts to diss her dead husband. Finally there's that crack and he lets silences build the pressure on her to talk. By the time he reveals the test results she feels him closing in. Her body is rigid with her arms clasped in front of her, and she starts to diss her daughter. He goes to the empathy tactic, calling her a "good person" and appealing to her ego. He sympathizes with her as a martyr. Seriously artful.
Unfortunately, we lost our teenager at 16 in 2008, and I still can't talk about her without breaking down,it's been 12 yrs. This lady, her demeanor, is terrifying it's only been a week. OMG. She is too calm. Your child is your life. It is a hurt that never ends.
The way that she kept on giggling throughout this entire interrogation tells me that she thought she was going to get away with this. I'm soooo glad that she didn't and was finally caught!!!!
That’s not true; she (and many other killers on this channel) who act lighthearted and even crack mundane little jokes are clearly doing it to come off as likable, friendly, someone too easygoing to ever kill their loved one golly gee! so much so that they look violently stupid for forgetting that normal humans grieve lol I mean ^ that does require you to think “my genius plan is going smoothly rn”, but that’s not the cause is all I’m saying

@@Abundantanna1 no, we're not saying that. We're not defending anything she did. But two contradictory things can be true at the same time. If I've learned anything from True Crime it is this--the abused can also be the abuser, and the victim can also be there perpetrator
That’s exactly what I was thinking as well! That is most definitely the case for quite a number of people and their fucked up family who are the psycho’s.
Normal in any circumstance but the one she is in. If your child was in the hospital like this and you are at the police station, if you are innocent and your child is in danger, you would not be able to behave like this. It really grinds my gears when people say "they're bipolar or they have Borderline personality disorder" when they try to discredit someone. I have BPD and I don't lie. @@carolinefrederico1712 unfortunately I know exactly how that feels. It sucks but at least we see it. How people treat us says more about them than us. If this happened to my daughter, I would be inconsolable, not able to utter a single word, and the fact that she had done this before too, two other members of her family, absolutely horrific x

For her to thibk shes soooo smart, she certainly doesnt even try to appear like a loving mother. Most people at least try to come across concerned or upset. But really most people OVERdo it with the tears and acting! She killed her husband, her son, and now tried to kill her daughter. After watching this I called my 80yo mom and thanked her for caring for, loving me and wisely choosing a responsible, hard working and kind man to be my Dad and her husband. Blessed to have parents who were a pillar of support for each other and their children.
My son got 3 stitches recently. It felt like every jab of the needle was going straight into my heart. I just cannot fathom hurting a single hair on his head, let alone being this calm. I was a wreck. It’s not that I am a wonderful person, it’s 100% instinctual to be unable to bear his suffering. This lady is missing something and it’s very sad for everyone.
Shes missing a conscience. She's a psychopath. Very scary that these people walk amongst us every day. 1% of the population in fact.. although that is an underestimation apparently 😳
SAME! It’s so disgusting. My child recently had a cast put on, after a week of a splint until we could see an orthopedic doctor after a fall at school :( I’m STILL CRYING over it, broken hearted, meanwhile he’s overall as happy as a clam and loves the cast color he chose. ANYONE who harms a child should immediately be put do/wn. It’s unforgivable.
Be careful not to smother him with your fear of losing him. You have to let him do his own experience of life and avoid projecting your fears on him, as this may make him dependent on you and create fears in him he otherwise wouldn't have had. To love is to accept people's freedom.
I honestly guess it was arsenic, as I am certain the symptoms are basically the same. And the whole poisoning the whole family with it is not anything new for psychotic mothers.
@Julie Hicks Luckily or unluckily, the type of people who commit violent acts rarely stop after just 1, which usually gets them caught. As most people will slip up and the authorities, generally, aren't as incompetent as the criminals think they are.
Great vid! Also…I’ve cried more thinking my cat was dead when he was just sleeping like a rock than this woman showed any empathy for her own DAUGHTER ugh
She has no empathy. Psychopaths are not able to feel empathy and no insight. So dangerous. The average good person can’t even fathom being like this. Lock her up forever!
Imagine if she didn't try to kill her daughter she would have gotton away with murdering her husband and son. What was her plan? To take out a family memeber every 6 month? She is so disgusting. As a wife and mother, I can not even began to understand how she could do what she did. It goes against my every instinct.
I’m not sure why she did it either especially since normally when stuff like this happens they have large insurance policies. They didn’t even have enough to buy a brand new car.
I think she was at her max. She was stressed out trying to support at least 2 able bodied adults and a disabled child with no help. I would have just divorced the husband and stopped supporting the lazy daughter. But chick isn't sane, and decided to remove everyone else instead of just leaving.
It’s actually insane how devoid of any emotion she is in the beginning knowing that 3 of her family members had died. Literally the biggest red flag i have ever seen
That's actually one of the hallmarks of psychopathy (primary), they seem to have no emotions, except maybe disgust and jealousy, and no morality. They don't mind being evil or being seen as evil, they don't like getting caught though.
2 died, her husband and he 2 year old son. Her daughtecSarah is in hospital and almost died. Another daughter helped her and she has an 11 year old girl. Sad that this was a solution to her problem. Sounds like the son and Sarah also had other health issues too. She was the only bread winning the home. There were other solutions to the problem than killing her family one by one...wonder how far she would have gone........
I don't know is always suspicious... & the fact that she said "I have no clue" when he asked what she is gonna do with the life insurance IF her daughter passes instead of saying something like "I hope my daughter isn't gonna pass!" Or "That hasn't even crossed my mind, bc I don't want my daughter to die!" is a huge RED FLAG!
If it was my kid...I would have forgotten any life insurance...WTF....its you Child....I wouldn't be thinking about money, I'd be spending everything I have to help my kid
It's twofold. Firstly, antifreeze contains a primary component similar in structure to common sugar, meaning it would require far too much flavouring added to overwhelm the extremely powerful sweet taste, and while I'm not a chemist, potentially the amount of flavouring required could interfere with the chemical makeup. Secondly, there's been many studies done on bitter or other foul tasting flavourings being added to various products to dissuade ingestion. It doesn't reduce the rate of poisoning. Involuntary ingestion of a poisonous or toxic substance is relatively uncommon, and in many cases children will ingest them even despite strong bitter flavourings being added. This specific case is a massive outlier and should not be used to sway opinions about antifreeze. The primary concern with antifreeze is and always has been children and animals intentionally ingesting it because it tastes sweet. The solution to this is to take extreme care to make sure it isn't accessible to small children and animals, and then to educate your children about its dangers once they are old enough to comprehend concepts like hurting, being sick ect. In the case of this woman, if it wasn't antifreeze it would have been something else. She was the problem, not the method by which she did it.
@@Deborah-fw9po There have been commerical attempts to make more bitter tasting antifreeze but as I mention in my comment above, these have been shown by studies to be highly ineffective and so the vast, vast majority of antifreeze is very sweet. It is not chemically or economically viable to flavour antifreeze if it isn't shown to save lives.
The polypropylene that makes antifreeze sweet is also in various food products for human and pet consumption. Examples: it's in artificial vanilla extract and some dog treats. Read ingredients...this is a toxin, even though small amounts may not obviously harm you. YUCK!!
I spoke to someone online in hopes to get a date ..he was a male nurse who just retired ..I was telling him I was having issues with my roommate .he offered me a drug I can put in his drink that overtime will kill him..there are monsters among us oser than you think..
She's well aware of what she did, how she did it. She's just not as smart as she thinks she is. Quite possibly while she was working on the medical insurance files, it came to her. Notice how she tries to have him tell her what tests were being run? For someone who knows zero about what happened, she knows right away how much the insurance amounts are. He's leading her, and she's trying to say she doesn't know...what woman *doesn't* know what cleaning and poisonous items are in their house? Including the garage? Yard? She's sick. Definitely psychotic, pathological liar as well. She just got fed up, decided to kill, but should have left, started over. Disgusting creature, money-hungry.

Some cops are just good people before the badge. Some cops are opposite and use their badge as a tool of oppression. This guy is really good at his job and is a smart good dude. He knows what he's doing
Detectives have so much patience. Because her saying “I don’t know” to every question I asked her would have sent me over the edge. I’m He could have literally asked her what her name and D.O.B and she would be like “well.... I don’t know” 😐😐😐
For 12 yrs she has been employed by an insurance company to review insurance claims in her official capacity as a nurse. That means she needed to have a good understanding of medical issues on a general level. She would have to be able to review information and provide input as to the validity of that information for adjudication of those claims. Yet she keeps saying 'I don't know'. Some people just too stupid to understand they aren't smart enough to get away with playing stupid.
Well, there's no win in what you've said, if she talked about her knowledge it would be suspicious too, and the commentaries would be like "she could talk a little less but her ego made her talk a lot". This is just one of those situations where de analysys could go both ways.
In all those years, I’m sure fraudulent life insurance claims due to antifreeze poisoning have come across her desk. Hell, I’m no nurse. I just have pets, and I know about antifreeze poisoning! She’s an idiot if she thinks anyone will believe all her “I don’t know”s.
Actually she made self deprecating comments (trying to appear humble?) like “I try” when the detective said she seemed intelligent and was too in her field. She KNOWS she’s got a heck of lot of head knowledge about lab tests and RX drugs and poisonings for that matter. I think she is arrogant and is trying for the “Gee, idk”. I’m a nurse, Mom and grandmom, totally want to throw up at this person.
Eh. That job doesn't require that one apply much medical knowledge, or any critical thinking, nor above-average intelligence. It's practically a non-medical job. She's definitely playing goddamn games, but her job's pretty irrelevant.
Nah - he's following a clear cut scipt he learned at the detective school. Not bright at all, he was just a good student. He says and repeats the exact same things that all USA detectives do, because they were taught to. This primitive techique works well on people with low, or mediocre intelligence.
I know some people have done it, but it's extremely rare.

top notch detective work. I'm so impressed with this guy.
What frustrates me is how she got away with two murders already and it took a third attempt to get them to test more thoroughly. One, okay. Two in same family should trigger additional autopsy tests.
especially so close together
My thoughts exactly! Like how did they not find that suspicious that they died so close together and from the same exact circumstances. Blamed The husband's bad health and choices in life and the kids underlying health issues. Um really? 🤦🏼♀️
Yes and the only reason the investigation started is because the police got an "anonymous" tip that she might be involved.
They do all kinds of tests during autopsy to determine cause of death. They wouldn't just shrug and release a body lol.
@@mydogeatspuke Did you watch the video before replying to this comment? Do you understand that standard autopsies don’t test for every possible chemical but they only run specific screening chemicals for particular substances unless there is a request for additional testing? Finally, do you not realize how silly you sound when the fact is they did exactly that!
And appealing to her ego...totally brilliant.

Not to mention how she just kept saying, "I dOn'T kNoW," to everything.

An incredible interview. The way he slowly moves closer as the pressure builds. Good silences and eye contact. Half way through she starts to diss her dead husband. Finally there's that crack and he lets silences build the pressure on her to talk.

Why can't anti-freeze be required to be produced and sold with a bitter flavoring added?
@@prodesign8189 it is now
Maybe they do make unpleasantly flavored antifreeze. I think it is a problem with pets possibly drinking it in a driveway or parking lot leak spot .
YUCK!!

@@Chrissy0325If they were to investigate every sudden death that happens nothing would be done. Sorry about your loss but being anti-vaxx is a sure way of looking like a fool.
Him scooching closer and closer as the interrogation progresses. Classic!
I'm not mad at you, Joe...I'm just disappointed.
I was about to type those exact words, but I wasn't sure how to spell scooch😂
He’s top tier..one of the best interrogators I’ve ever watched
Yea just like a snake getting ready to eat it prey they make me sick
God love the word scooch
Wow! This detective is truly amazing‼️ No intimidation, just straight and so soft spoken. Way to get someone to open up. He knows what he’s doing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
She, on the other hand, horrible horrible person. What mother kills her children because she doesn’t want to deal with them anymore? Sad
Some cops are just good people before the badge. Some cops are opposite and use their badge as a tool of oppression. This guy is really good at his job and is a smart good dude. He knows what he's doing
Most enjoy doing it around 6 months in the wome
@@motorcitymadman146 No, not most. Only the worst.
She got SO quiet as soon as he mentioned they’re doing tests on Sean’s tissues. The bubbly cooperative person disappeared.
exactly no more haha or hehe xD
💯😂
Some murderers are so dense. Why would you think they wouldn't test the body? That's Murder 101.
Oh shit moment😂
@@daisylavender5275 pure delusion.
Detectives have so much patience. Because her saying “I don’t know” to every question I asked her would have sent me over the edge. I’m He could have literally asked her what her name and D.O.B and she would be like “well.... I don’t know” 😐😐😐
Wasn’t he great! Really impressive
Or”I haven’t got a clue.”
Me too, I wanted to reach into my phone and smack her every time she said she didn't know. Lady!!
I dont know..I really dont know 💩
I don't know, I really don't know....she didn't know much did she?? Lol
@@tarantulady source?
Once the police call you in to "talk." They already know .
The terrifying thing is she was working her way through her entire family.
No just sorting the wheat from the chaff
Just pure evil! Every time she kept saying she didn’t know, I wanted to jump through the video and attack her!!!
she is a neat and tidy person !
@@xyz12345457 She was probably afraid she'd be next if she DIDN'T help.
@@lapacesiaconvoi thanks.. I was wondering
This detective interviewing skills are off the charts. Impressive af
Nah - he's following a clear cut scipt he learned at the detective school. Not bright at all, he was just a good student. He says and repeats the exact same things that all USA detectives do, because they were taught to. This primitive techique works well on people with low, or mediocre intelligence. The interview was utterly unnecessary, they already knew the whole thing in and out.
💯
Think the same.
Right ✅️ playing dumb initially.
Exactly. I was thinking he seemed like a lightweight in the beginning…not so, he was very effective.
The patience of this interrogator never ceases to amaze me.
