@ 3:16, the reviewer incorrectly identifies the Vanquish's transmission as a single-clutch automated manual, The car in fact utilizes a conventional 6-speed (torque converter) automatic transmission, which it shared with the DB9 and the Rapide. The 2015 Vanquish uses a newer 8-speed (also conventional) automatic. Both transmissions were/are supplied by ZF.
He may have confused the Vanquish with the Vantage, which does use an (awful) 7-speed single-clutch automated transmission. .

And I thought my $100k Lexus was pricey! Well, I'm truly content with that vehicle, which is still in the _top 1%_ of vehicles on the road....

As you should be. Your Lexus is a luxury car you drive; this Aston-Martin is an exotic car you keep in your 5-car garage and drive twice a month.

thedriversseat Quite right. You've hit the nail on the head with that dichotomy! Thanks for the fun review.

God it's beautiful. Is it wrong that I want to lick this car?

Where did you get the car? Did Aston Martin let you borrow the car from them or was it some guy that happened to own it? How did you convince someone to let you drive their $300,000 car?

There is no clutch, its a normal automatic mate.

I think DBS Volante is the best ever. The rear end of the vanquish volante is ruining the look of the car.

5.9 L? It clearly says 6.0 L on the engine

FROZENpenguin X it's officially a 5.935 L engine, so they rounded it up to 6.0L so it seems that little bit more powerful

Torrey B both from UK, both RWD, both have "auto" style transmissions(dct vs auto), both are still performance cars, both are similar price...
