There’s so many ways to do it. I would say start simple you can always make upgrades later on.
I love your van! One thing you may want to look at when you are researching a hitch rack for the back is one that swings out of the way so you can access the back door.
Yes we’ve definitely discussed it. Do you have any wrecks on where I could purchase one as far as I can tell it looks like it might have to be something more custom our generators around 100 pounds.

Regular gas not a diesel engine
Also, how do you yall make love without feeling guilty the van is shaking hahahahha
We feel no guilt about the van shaking 😆 but we do have some nice spots to boondock and run the generator with more privacy.
