Glad it helped! I also have another video on a more pro way of running the effect. You have to run a script called Zoom in and follow. If set up correctly, you can zoom in the screen in whatever position you like and have the zoom follow the cursor live. Have a look at my OBS playlist ;-)
Thanks but what one is actually hoping for is to be able to just do the zooming in and out on the go without complex procedures. I am creating coding tutorials and want to zoom in on certain areas from time to time. Doable?
I have another video on the Zoom In and Follow script. It's a script that you can use with OBS that allows you to zoom in and out and follow your cursor without needing to create new scenes. Once installed and working it's easy and great, but the installation procedure is not 1 click. You can check out my video here ruclips.net/video/5di0gCg6uQQ/видео.html
Hi, thank you for the wonderful video. I have set all the hotkeys as demonstrated by you and it is working while I view the obs screen. But when I start recording and go to onenote application , the hotkeys are not working on onenote application Please help
If you using Windows 10-11 why not just use the built-in Magnifier during your presentation, it has very easy shortcut keys to control what you want to see and switch between zoom in and zoom out. Easier than switching between scenes.
Hi Nicolas, indeed at lot of links in the description 😀. You are right, the link pointed to my Move Transition video tutorial and not to the plugin download page (obsproject.com/forum/resources/move-transition.913/ ). My bad, thanks for having spotted this. It's now fixed
I did several tests and the Move transition doesn't work that way. When moving from different screen sizes, it always swipe the content from the first scene to a point until it disappears and then shows the content from the second scene until it fills the entire screen. When moving from scenes the same size it works, but not from scenes from different sizes.
Thanks for the comment. It‘s hard to say what the issue is. It could be that the sources have „non-matching“ names? So the move transition does not apply because the sources in the two scenes are not matching? Just guessing, but it‘s hard to tell without seeing it
@@EnricoZamparo I fixed. My screen were named incorrectly so the Zoom transition understood there were different monitors in place when it was only one screen source. Please, ignore my comment above.
@@EnricoZamparo Unfortunately, I am still facing problems on Mac. The shortcuts only work when OBS is the app in first plane. When I shift to any other applications in order to record what I am doing, the shortcuts are no longer working. I have to go to my other screen, click on any part of the OBS window in order to make it the app in first plane, then execute the shortcut. This is very unproductive, though.
@@ibisitibere hi and sorry you‘re facing issues. I‘ve searched the web for the problem and unfortunately it seems to be a common issue that on Mac hotkeys don’t work global. First try to go here and see if it changes anything: File -> Settings -> Advanced -> Hotkey Focus Behavior . Else there are some workarounds that worked for some people and you can find them in this thread obsproject.com/forum/threads/workaround-hotkeys-not-global-not-working-when-obs-not-active.36028/page-2 . I‘ll keep searching and let you know if I find something. Please keep me posted

Hi Enrico! Your channel is a treasure and your videos are great! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! You made my day! :-)

Thanks so much, super easy to understand!

welcome!
For some reason, I don't have the zoom option in my scene transitions menu.. Where can I get that?
when there are 26578 links in the description but not the one link I need that is the plug-in
