Sometimes I think about a celebrity's life and how hard it must be knowing that the price you pay for pursuing a dream and becoming a public figure is having almost no public priveleges among 'normal' people where it becomes a life problem. Getting a protection dog kills two birds in one stone. You've got an animal that is there to protect you but he's also still a pet who fits into your family. That's the beauty of a dog and their loyalty is incredible. Congratulations on getting Wolf, Eddie, and wishing you and your family all the best under his protection.
Whenever Eddie talks about his dog, he is always subliminally sending a message to stop people of even thinking of breaking into his house haha. it's defo working
even IF i was a burglar and before he got this dog i definitely wouldnt break into his house because who eddie is and i enjoy my face attached to my head
When I was a kid, I had a ninety-pound Rottweiler cross who looked like one of those Canis Panther designer dogs. She was the absolute sweetest with people she trusted; if a stranger set foot on the property, she would start *roaring* until someone told her to stand down. She lived to sixteen, which isn't bad for a big dog; it's been years, and I still miss her.
Wow what a beautiful animal, he's so well trained. He is in a great home too, you will take care of him while he takes care of you. God Bless you and your family, stay safe.
He seems like such a cool guy. I’m sure he’d love to grant people some time but no matter your position and status in life, we are all granted the same 24 hours in a day. Good for him protecting his time and that of his family’s.
That's weird because I have been living in your bushes for like 3 months now and no one has complained. BTW, good on you for bleeping out Wolf's attack command. That would undoubtedly be exploited by some numbskull.
Eddie you don’t have to explain yourself. I can tell by watching you on RUclips and WSM and every other forum you a humble awesome guy. Glad you got a place where you and the fam can be safe. Especially with Wolf.
I completely agree bro.. he doesn’t need to explain we all want to protect our kids and family.. his dog is like him .. nice.. until you provoke him 🙌🏼👌
That kind of discipline in an 18 month old dog is madness, that’s still a pup like, the people who trained him obviously know what they’re doing, I really enjoyed this video, Wolfie looks beautiful
The dog has been trained on a electric shock collar. The dog now wears a “GPS” collar around his neck in replace of his shock collar. It’s the same size and weight as the shock collar so the dog still thinks the collar is in place so doesn’t put a foot wrong. Please don’t jazz it up as anything different. People that train working dogs know exactly what’s going on
@@onehype2498 that is not true, I’ve trained dogs in the past, plenty of dogs, not once did I use a shock collar or injure the dog in any way, positivity is how it’s done, don’t spread false information, these dogs are trained using rewards
I always wondered how you coped with people coming to your house. Many prolific people go through great lengths to hide where they live, but you didn't seem to care. I've driven past where you lived a few times and there were often people hanging around. I always hoped to see you, but never wanted to come and disturb you either (glad I didn't now). I used to live near Peter Kay too and it was the same then. Also Wolf is gorgeous! I've always wanted a Dog like him. You can see the vigilance and desire to protect in his eyes.
I lost my GSD this year I am still heart broken. I trained my dog the same way, I built the relationship on trust, she was everything. About year 5 I no longer needed to give commands as she knew what to do and when to do it. It almost became telepathic as if we were sync'd like 2 particles entangled. Congrats its awesome to connect with another species on that level.

I’ve been following you for awhile now and never once did I think of you as arrogant or un grateful. Some “fans” think it’s okay to push the boundaries of normal interaction it’s obviously not okay to bother a man at his house you are the best Eddie ! Love the videos
Gorgeous pup Eddie! I would reconsider the lead when in public though. You can tie a small retractable on your wait if you’re out going for a run. It’s not really just for Wolf, especially seeing how well trained he is, it’s for other dogs. They can see he’s not on a leash while they are and they do feel a disadvantage so they may get nervous or aggressive. People may also get nervous, there’s no way to know he’s well trained, especially considering how rare of a phenomenon that is. Also, please reconsider breeding him. Being a breeder is a science. And by not treating it as such we see the results all over, with millions of strays and the shelters overwhelmed. All my dogs have been rescues and I train them all, including the ones I foster. Most of them purebred and the result of puppy mills or irresponsible breeding that doesn’t start with that intention.
But wasnt that the point to make people reconsider(nervous) if they approach Eddy. Let them be nervous. On the other hand other dog owners should know to keep distance? That's their problem. Sometimes you have to think about yourself especialy people like Eddy.
@@AltairEerik for sure, I definitely see your point, however having Wolf on a leash would still keep folks at a distance (I bet you and speaking from experience..lol). Not having a leash would affect strangers/random people walking their dogs. If we try to be responsible dog owners, we have to think of how other dogs and people would react and if we are unintentionally initiating a possible issue. It’s the same thing when taking a dog to a fenced dog run where all dogs are loose, it’s no good to keep your dog on a leash. I hope that makes sense. Everytime we take our dog(s) in public, we have to be aware of how other dogs may be reacting as we don’t operate in a vacuum and independently of others.
I can see where you come from because I hate when when other people’s dog run over and start being aggressive, I have 2 standard American bulldogs by the way lol. My dogs honestly are the best trained dogs I’ve ever seen, if not they other dogs stay away from mine as they are so well trained lol. My dogs are obsessed with tennis balls so I can keep them occupied even when other dogs are close, people who want other dogs to be on a lead 24 7 can’t control their own dogs unfortunately. I know for a fact I could walk past Eddie with my dogs and there wouldn’t be an issue, people with poorly trained dogs are the only people who would have a problem 😢
@@nikkibouttell3232 Unfortunately we cannot ignore the reality that most dogs have limited to no training. And the ones that do know basic commands and have good recall could still get nervous by seeing a dog off of a leash. That’s their nature and it’s something you can’t always train away from. Nature vs nurture, nature always wins.
This! My dog is relatively well trained and actively trains in Schutzhund & obedience, but on a leash we are still working on his dog reactivity. If Wolf came up to him off lead he would be going ballistic. Which in turn could cause Wolf to think of him as a threat and react. At no point has my dog done anything wrong (being on a lead and reactive is a problem but not exactly against the law) yet it could turn out one or both dogs are killed simply because of Wolf approaching off lead. Also, breeding a 'Romanian' GSD is strongly discouraged.

If you walk your dog off the lead and you both come across another dog on the lead and the other dog reacts aggressively to wolf and snaps at wolf then if wolf bites back then because he is off the lead regardless of self defense wolf will get put down. I have had 4 GSD's over the years (3 females and 1 male) and they are/were the BEST ever. So intelligent, loyal and playful, yet strong and protective. My children and grandkids have interacted with them all and NO problems - as was correctly stated in the video, they know their 'family'. It is very pleasing to show the GSD in a positive light. Absolutely, training is paramount to have a quality dog, just as with children they must know what is acceptable behaviour and what is not. Eddie, I hope and pray you and your family have many, many years of enjoyment with Wolf and his progeny 🙏🏻🐾🐾

Wolf is beautiful and such a good boy! GSDs are amazing dogs. I know he's going to receive the best care possible with you, but if I may, I'd like to pass on some info I wish someone told me years ago before it was too late. I've got an 8 year old GSD with fantastic breeding, but even with that, her hind legs are starting to give out on her. She's on joint supplements now to maintain the good tissue and cartilage that's still in there, but my vet told me that starting them on a joint care regimen as early as possible can help prevent those problems from ever manifesting, especially for an athletic and hard working pup like Wolf! So if he isn't already on a joint care routine, it might be something to consider looking into! I do feel kind of silly offering this advice since I'm sure Wolf has an amazing vet and you know more about taking care of muscles and joints than I ever will, but if mentioning this can help a single dog somewhere, then it's worth it!

@@mgoldenboyz7942 sounds like you don't know shit about dogs bro. Some definitely have more piss and vinegar in them than others but no dog does ANYTHING for no reason. You may not understand the reason, but that doesn't mean the dog doesn't have one. Also my point on training the dog was about the bond built with the animal during the experience, not about a dick measuring contest over who has the better trained dog. His dog is very well trained but it's not unthinkable to achieve that level of training on your own with enough time with the dog and enough patience on your part. I will grant you, though, that Eddie has much too much on his plate to accomplish this on his own at this stage of life.

If a dog attacks you on its own property it ain't going to get put down. You're the one at fault for trespassing in the first place. Let me edit this to be a bit more clear. With it being a fully trained protection dog it will be the person trespassing that gets into trouble as the dog isn't "out of control" as Eddie will have all the evidence to prove that the dog is trained and there for a reason.

I think eddie being in his house alone would stop people from breaking in it😂

When I was a kid, I had a ninety-pound Rottweiler cross who looked like one of those Canis Panther designer dogs. She was the absolute sweetest with people she trusted; if a stranger set foot on the property, she would start *roaring* until someone told her to stand down. She lived to sixteen, which isn't bad for a big dog; it's been years, and I still miss her.

only a proper trainer can get the ok attack now relese when told ect results as dogs need alot of care and drills to know what to do on comand

I really appreciate a high profile person explaining this unwanted aspect of fame in a very honest way.
