Hopefully MSI fixes those few things (internal monitor resolution and 2 PSUs) in their 8th version of MSI Titan with 2x GTX1080ti SLI inside. I would buy that GT83VR v7 only if the price drops. Interesting product line still and I can find use cases for it.
you can super sample to change the resolution capture btw..., like in battlefield 1 multiply by 200% for 4k it's literally in the options in game, that how you should be playing games with a crazy powerful computer anyway.
Glad you like it :D I couldn´t run anything other then 1080p because of the screen limitations.. I should have maybe tried to upscale it trough the advanced menu but didn´t really have time to check it out further with this laptop. I think there could have been some game, driver issue.. though I had the latest GeForce drivers on and the game was latest also.. so.. yeah.. wierd.
TheTanelChannel yes, it's a shame you didn't have time or possibly access to an external monitor, that would have been ideal. If you check out some of my videos GTA V benefits hugely when the CPU is overclocked at 1080p suggesting a CPU bottleneck, especially feeding two GTX 1080's I agree, they should have had a 4k display. Very strange choice..
OWNORDISOWN Adding external monitor kinda destroys the purpose of this "laptop". I mean if you are gonna use an external monitor then might as well just build a desktop PC :P
Still can´t belive it had TWO power supply units :D Mr Trump would love to buy them in a huge quantity I guess, to BUILD DAT WALL!

Super sample to change the resolution? :D
Nice review. GTA V is very cpu limited. Did you run it at 1080p? Try it at a higher resolution and you should start seeing some greater benefit..
