Z6III: Content creation global shutter RED Beast. Zf II: 33MP Retro why-do-i-need-a-z6iii Fuji killer. Zs: Niche highly collectable high performance Leica killer rangefinder.
@@brooker_7883 The Z7 III will likely be similar to the Z6 III in performance but just a higher-res version. So a step down from the Z8 in terms of overall performance, but higher res (probably 8k30 capable though).
Since we’re speculating, I’ll toss my own guess in here: There will be no Z7iii ever. The Z7 will be discontinued. There’s no reason for it to exist, because it would be too similar to the Z8.
IMO there would be too much of a price point gap between the Z6 and the Z8. Generally companies cater to all possible price points in their industry so they keep users within the brand.

No. No you can’t. Z5 was a gift from Nikon and a way to dump its d750 sensors - which are fantastic… but as a former z5 user I can sympathise but I highly doubt we will ever see a z5ii.
If you talk to camera dept. crew in the film industry, they will confirm that RED was not in a good position, and was losing marketshare to Arri and Sony. With the Z8 having been at $300 off for some time now (so $3699) and even cheaper with the $500 sale which ends Sunday, it makes me wonder if there will be a Z7 III this time around. If there is it will probably be in the $3200 range but we probably can't expect too much of it regardless. It will likely just be a higher-res (60MP) version of the Z6 III.
