I like the choosing 18 stems, then doubling up the weaving, makes for a fatter stem weaving and easier to do, versus " the single stem, choose odd number" method.. Also the beginning of the process, using floral wire, then piercing the ribbon then wrapping times 3...makes for a smooth and beautiful "turnaround" edge thanks for the tutorial!!!

Wow some of your lavender is so tall. Mine is mostly Hidcote and all budded ready to bloom I just ordered some silk ribbon I want to try the wands.
