I got it! Now I need the strapcode bracelet for it... I don't like that the original doesn't taper to 18mm... but idk if I should get the jubilee or just stick to oyster bracelet... what do you think?
At 42mm it's reasonably sized. What we always recommend is cutting out a piece of paper in the size of the watch. 42mm diameter and 46mm length (lug to lug distance). If you put that on your wrist you can get a better impression of how it will fit :-)
Orient Watch Co. doesn't use the nicknames, such as 'Mako', 'Ray' or 'Bambino'. They are made up names by dealers (originally by OrientWatchUSA - which is just a distributor/dealer), so if another dealer calls it the 'Ray II', it wouldn't make sense (with the FAA02005D etc. being the second iteration of the original CEM65009D Ray I), but they are allowed to use a different nickname by all means :-)
This dial is beautiful 😍
Nice watch. I'll buy it tomorrow.
Great choice!

Great choice! Strap code makes some decent bracelets and the jubilee looks very cool :-)
Why do all clocks show the same time?
This is mako 2 know. .?
How do you think it fits on a 16cm wrist? it's big?

Kamasu Mako III or Ray II? 🧐 Orient says this is a Ray II..

@@SeriousWatches Ok. Orient Spain does use the names to differentiate the models when you ask them, that's why i said it. 😊
I think the ones with the round indices are always called Ray and those with the batons are Makos. So this would be a Ray :)
Would Look much better with a Black bezel
In most lighting situations, it does look black.
