About advanced verification
Google wants to make sure that local business ads are relevant and useful. Unfortunately, we’ve identified a number of fraudulent advertisers who use false identities on Google. To help reduce fraud and improve the overall experience for you and your customers, we’re asking advertisers who promote services in certain locations to complete advanced verification:
Where advanced verification is required
Garage door services: United States
Locksmith services: United States
To complete advanced verification, simply answer a few questions about your business, then wait for an email from Google. It should arrive within about two weeks.
After passing advanced verification, your business will be eligible to run advertising campaigns for locksmith and/or garage door services.

Confirm your business info
To review and confirm your business info for advanced verification:
Navigate to the advanced verification form.
Enter your name, email, phone number, and the associated AdWords Customer ID. Select the type of business and enter the business name, business owner name, full business address, business phone number, and website.
Enter your professional license.
Click Submit.
You’ll be notified by email once your application has been processed, typically within two weeks.

Frequently asked questions
How will Google use my information?
The information you provide to Google on your application is strictly confidential and solely for the purposes of advanced verification. When handling all verification related information, Google is subject to its Privacy Policy.
What if I don’t complete advanced verification?
AdWords and AdWords Express customers advertising locksmith or garage door services who don’t complete advanced verification may no longer be eligible to show ads.
I advertise locksmith or garage door services on behalf of other businesses. What should I do?
Please submit an application on behalf of the other business here or request that the business submit an application.

I just did mine, it felt very intrusive especially after they wanted a close up of my license plate and my uniform.
They did want to see my key machines and inside my van as well.. I hope I see a result from it. I was verified that same day if anyone is wondering. Yours sounded much more in depth then mine.

In california, they require advanced verification for both Adwords and Google My Business...but I think they changed it now to the entire USA. I am extrememly frustrated with Google Adwords though, they didn't approve my ads even after advanced verification. My business page is up, but the advanced verification team is really hard to deal with and not very courteous in replying back. I showed them all the proper documents and my van, but still a no go. Even the interview was weird, some indian lady who barely spoke english contacted me and wanted to see my face, but I couldn't even see her. I was showing her all these important documents, not even being able to see her. Now I have no idea what to do now...I'll just have to figure out another way SMH

I'm very interested on where you read about Google doing a full audit on locksmiths I've heard that as well but I have not been able to find any information online through a quick search. I am 100% licensed bonded and insured and I would like to see the scammers taken down finally

I did verification in 2017 and passed. 2022 they had me jump through weeks of hoops and in the end when all my ducks were in a row, they denied me, but won't tell me why.
How long did they stop your ad words? How long did they shut you down for the verification process?
Yes they shut me down for about a month

Much of that information is Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and strictly regulated in the US. Everyone should be extremely cautious before providing PII.
Your business license, TAX-ID, locksmith license (if required) and business address (P.O. BOX) should be more than sufficient to meet any due diligence requirements of an advertising company. For states requiring licensing, like mine, your locksmith license should be all that is required.

They still haven't improved the process, I'm going through it right now and it's been a complete pain in the ass. I got verified then immediately got suspended because of my address and being mobile.
