This is a great new feature being able to switch between the two modes. I personally like the low to high so I don't blow out my night vision. Good how to video, just earned a new sub 👍
I have this light. It's super annoying and unreliable switches modes. It's only useful in that you can change the starting mode to low. Switching between them is a hassle and finicky at best. Tbh, I hate this light.
Thanks for your video. I received my i3T 2 today and immediately changed it to start on low. I effectively got it for just $5 in a sale bundle, so I couldn't pass it up. I'd like it more with the addition of a medium mode.
@@PardonMyEnglish I didn't read the instructions either and olight never makes anything with different modes because some people have a hard time unlocking the damn lights 😆 it's cool to see them throw a couple of groups in there I can hear all there phones ringing already lol. Are u going to do a review on the diffuser from olight I just won 1 so I'm interested in them.

Hi, I just got the i3T 2 free with the Marauder Mini (which I have currently on charge right now before initial use!). I'm not an expert on EDC lights or anything (and the marauder mini probably isn't one of those), but I absolutely ADORE my Baton 3 Premium, the light it produces is phenomenal and the battery life is insane. I guess they weren't kidding when they said a year before needing to charge... And I love my little i3E just as an extra EDC attachment to my over shoulder bag during my late evening deliveries. The i3T 2 came free with my marauder mini in the same awesome golden black design but the button is pretty stiff, did you find that? I kinda miss the twist cap design simplicity of the i3E. Was just curious which you prefer out of the i3E and this i3T 2? Also your thoughts on the marauder mini?
Nice, it sounds like you got some excellent flashlights! I don’t have experience with the Marauder Mini but it looks impressive. Personally, I like having an i3E on my keychain and an i3T for everyday use. The i3T switch does seem stiff at first but it will break in a bit plus I found that I got used to it pretty quickly. Also the Baton 3 Premium looks amazing as well 👍
@PardonMyEnglish my 1st i3T black the brightest among all had a stiff tail switch & it never gotten soft in time. It was just made that way on that batch I guess or as I frequently noticed there's inconsistency in manufacturing in all brands.

I like the smaller size and the i3T is very bright when using 10440 lithium rechargeable batteries. As you say, the i5R definitely wins in the runtime category though.
Ah.. kind of like how the i3t is… lol it’s a gimmick version of the i3t. Lol a lower low is the only pro for this.. high is lower than the i3t, comes in on high to blind you in the middle of the night, the runtime is a side effect of the brightness, and the modes? I mean.. it’s a sub 600 lumen light… they just wanted to remarket it and sell it like it’s something uselfull.. put a port on it if you want to do something to wow us lol
