Rachel, don't be hard on yourself. Your projects are real life, and whether you post on a schedule or not, I'll personally be watching. I appreciate you just sharing your awesomeness with us. I also prefer good quality content versus quantity. As always, I love how this turned out. 💛

  • @JoDidntHearYou

I agree with others. Don’t be so hard on yourself (even in anticipation of anyone else being hard on you) for any inconsistencies in your uploading schedule. I was thinking at the beginning of this video, “she does these projects every week...she has got to be exhausted with how much energy goes into the concept planning, execution, editing...” you work your dang tail off, Rachel! Each and every video proves just how much of yourself you invest into these projects.
    I’m so dang proud!
I loved how you got everything off the floor in that closet. Being able to sweep up dust bunnies easily is so awesome!

I don't know why it took me this many years and (this particular) RUclips video to understand the making a cardboard cut out would be helpful.
Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for being explicit and sharing that thought and idea. Simple and amazing!

3:56 seconds you have another great tip (from another content creator) for making stamps in lieu of wallpaper! I love that idea for multiple applications. I make miniature houses for dioramas and wargaming and use this all the time for various textures like floors plankes and brick patterns as well as cobble stone. One helpful tip to get super crisp lines is to draw first with a ball point pen (or pencil slightly dulled) make a couple of passes without pushing too hard. Then take a very sharp knife, like an exacto or Olfa knife (better yet a heated cutting knife or foam cutter like the Proxon- it acts like a table saw for foam.)
Again this is an amazing video so many tidbits and amazing tips! Glad I found you! (Subscribed!)

Great makeover, Rachel! Just did this to the hall closet. It's morphed from a never used coat closet, to a pantry, to now a cleaning closet. Vacuum & steam mop live here, too. Also added wall-mounted plant hangers with 1" wood dowels. I buy big boxes of kitchen & outdoor trash bags, & I can thread the dowels through the rolls of bags. Keeps the boxes off the floor.

The stamp thing is the best most surprising thing I've seen you do, so far. Easier and cheap than paper. Not remembering you can counter sink that screw at the back of the shelf support and then using a counter sunk on something else right after, is the worst, so far. It's funny how you mention this is what you did for your family and it works for you. I loved it. Goals! I am such a disorganized person and find these type of videos and pinterest posts inspiring. I started to organize my pantries (these twin closets I have) and was showing pictures on pinterest to my coworkers of all the lovely organized pantries (your video on that was awesome btw!). Of course they came back with "no ones pantry actually looks like that." Nonsense! It certainly could and I find it quite functional. Thank you for the inspiration, I can't wait till we get our house sold and buy the next one. I will be going organization crazy!! :D

You can use tinfoil to cover the paint pan and brush. A lot easier and better than a bag.

Amazing. I wish my cleaning closet had an outlet for my Dyson's and spin mop! I didn't feel like hiring and electrician for a closet :(
