I'll definitely buy this as soon as i can. Take this line 6. Yes the helix is a huge update compared to the older pod generations, but the bang for the buck is just great and the features are top notch and what we need. Mooer, thanks for being fair and thanks for listening to what we want.
Radityo Pramono Adi yeah, honestly line 6 pod preamps sims aren’t half bad, just that the cab sims are shit, mooer really made a wise decision adding this feature
@Pat Howell yes, you're missing something. You set your presets using the buttons and dials, or with software, then use the foot switches while performing.
Depends what you need it for I guess you could arrange patches in banks of 2 or 3? in order for each song as you cycle thru your set live if youre organized.. And it looks like it fits in your gigbag pocket.

I am a one man band as to say. Not too many people in the world are blessed like this. I am infatuated with this tiny mooer ge200, I even dig the ge 250 and ge 300 and 300 synth. The ge 300 synth eliminated my Roland GR series no need for a the GK1,2or 3 pick ups anymore. I also have the boss gt5 which I use as my guitar synthesizer and. So back to this mooer , I love the sound and the easy to understand stuff. Totally beats my Digitech IPB-10 and my Line 6 Firehawk FX. Totally destroys my Boss GT3 and GT8.I have a collection of many rack units and floor pedals. This would make an awesome backup unit for more expensive units... I specially like how different parameters can be assigned to the exp pedal so you can use that easily to kick in delay, boost and maybe gain or different EQ to have easily accesible lead tones despite having only three buttons.
I've been using Zoom products since 1991. This blows away anything from Zoom with a G in front of it. The amp sims in the GE200 are no joke. This is a mini monster and with good IRs, it will have you shaking your head in disbelief. Mooer is killing it right now and the user interface on this rig took less than 10 minutes to master, I kid you not.
Maxx61 Facts, i love mine 💯% They just announced a few days ago that there will be indeed a GE300 coming out this summer. I seen the pic's on FB and it looks promising 👌

He switched back and forth between a preset rhythm tone and a lead tone and that was it. You can't get a more compact easier setup for touring with.........
Quick update, I finally received it a few weeks ago. I'm loving it. The build quality is really good, it feels heavy and solid, and looks great. There are a couple of really smooth tube amp sims that I really like. I think some of those came with the 2.0 firmware update (you have to update before you can hook it up to your PC). Really good compressor available too (Mooer Yellow). It all sounds great and it's easy to use. The onboard expression pedal is kind of small and awkward for me, but it works fine and it's just an extra anyway as far as I'm concerned. Oh, and being able to edit and manage my presets on my PC screen with the included software is really nice. My only disappointment is the looper. You can only start/stop recording by pressing the pedal. So if you want to make a loop that has drums in there, it can be quite difficult to press the button at exactly the right moment. A little to soon or too late and you have a useless loop with a glitch. I realise many loopers work like this, but I preferred the way my old Korg Pandora did it. It would give a couple of metronome ticks and then record exactly 1, 2 or 4 measures and stop by itself. Perfect phrase loop every time. Having said that, as a whole, I like the GE200 a lot. No regrets, would recommend.
I never skip and always click on ads on Ola videos. that's the least we can do for our hero! Love you man, I was looking to buy this product, you convinced me to go ahead.
Besides the fact that you look as badass-scandinavian-metal as it gets, your reviews are very helpful and straight to the point, I very much appreciate that!
Sounds great, better than the HD500, but no midi controller and no patch banks is a deal breaker for me personally. If it just had midi in/thru and *one* more footswitch for allowing a patch bank setting it'd be a viable competitor for the Pod for all uses. As it is, the Mooer seems fantastic for practice & recording, not so much for live if you need to quickly switch between sounds. Right now, I'm using the pod as a multieffects and midi amp controller for a bugera tririec with 4CM, and then the EH 44 magnum pedal with the POD as backup. I'd like to upgrade to something that has better sounding amp models, but it needs to have patch banks and midi control at minimum.
I am thinking about getting one. I was a pedalboard guy, but now a days I am looking for some handy alternatives to carry around. I bought the pe100 and I already liked it.
the missing link yeah. The zoom g3n and g3xn both recently dropped $50, down to $150 and $199 respectively. Maybe this Mooer will drop $50 after a year as well.
Sounds great, especially at that price, and great for recording, but they have made the usual mistake of only putting "Up" and "Down" buttons for patches, so effectively it's useless when playing live. Thanks as always for the demo Ola!

That's not different than the original Atomic Amplifire, and I used that live without any problems.
Maybe not apparently there's no difference in latency so two identical patches with the same settings with let's say the first clean and the second with gain could probably work fine live for switching from a clean intro to the main riff
Wait, no one in the comments saying "this sounds like Metal Zone" or "really fizzy"? What planet is this? Either way, this looks REALLY cool, and for that price? Wow.
Oh, but that's too specific. Pretty much every single metal demo of something that's not a big tube amp is filled with random comments about "Metal Zone", "bees" and "fizzy", and meanwhile I'm here listening on pretty decent headphones and in 3/4 of cases having no clue wtf are they talking about, though I'm pretty oversensitive about bad metal tones.
Great review Ola! There's a part in that video that made me very curious: 10:40, when you play an acoustic simulator. Man, i really want to hear something from acoustic guitars from you! Feared has so many hauting and atmosferic songs, and i think it would be awesome hear something in that line on acoustic guitar. I was very impressed when the song "Rapture", from the Jeff Loomis "Plains of Oblivion" started to play on the album, it was beyond awesome, and i think you could do it too! Cheers Ola!
