On the last day of our holiday, we went from the west through St. Anton, over the Hahntennjoch, then back via Lech, Zurs, etc. Driving through the towns and valleys was just as nice as driving through the pass. Stunning area. Looking forward to seeing some of those roads again next week.

Agreed. The sound is too muted stock, even on the RS models. An exhaust upgrade is a must and will probably make it sound as it should’ve done. 👍 As you said, you don’t want to have to push it to enjoy the sound.

Sehr stimmig (auch durch die kleinen Veränderungen), bin super gespannt auf den Auspuff und obs dann auch legal bleibt ;) Die Arlberg-Region ist wirklich sehr schön, allerdings finde ich es fast schon ein Trauerspiel anzuschauen, wie im Winter dort alles mehr oder weniger überfüllt ist, während es im Sommer praktisch mehr Häuser als Einwohner gibt. Diese extreme touristische Prägung ist zwar verständlich, aber für mich alles andere als schön - es war fast schon erschreckend als ich im Sommer dort entlanggefahren bin.

The new wheel colour looks fantastic.I would suggest to complete the yellow accents for the interior of the car,I would reccomend changing the seatbelt colour to yello,to match the seat inserts as well as the sill plate GT4 RS graphics and the shift knob lettering.🔥🔥🔥🔥
Friend and me from Indianapolis flew over for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone then flew over rented a 911 from Porsche Stuttgart drove through the Austrian Alps then flew back for Goodwood festival of speed. The Alps were drop dead gorgeous and not very busy and lots of fun.

Lot of tunnels, sound check walls, avalanche tunnels where with the right light they look like cinematic projectors wile driving by.... Believe me, this is real medecine against upcomming burn out... certainly equipped with your GT4RS and not my Passat GTE 🤩🤩. Take care of yourself Luke🧡
Never liked the blue wheels, Luke. Weiss Gold is glorious. In fact, you’ve made me so obsessed with it, I keep wondering how my Carrera Classics would look in this shade. I can’t find any evidence anyone’s done it before. Re personalising cars, I’m the same. I can’t abide ‘standard’. My Boxster even has a custom name below the side intakes (EVE). @@tomaszjung5263 It's the same as driving any RS on the street, has the 991.2 RS suspension. For me it's totally fine driving normally, actually more easy to drive normally than my Yaris!
@@carswithluke Cup2s look so much better on my 992 911 compared to the stock Goodyear tires that have a big lip protecting the rim and look kinda stretched. The side wall on the cup2 is what makes it look so much better. I would imagine it would do the same for your beautiful cayman. I had a tough time choosing between the 911T and GT4-RS.
Weiss gold was the colour for the 997 GT3RS/GT2RS wheels. This is the colour on my 911. However maybe it was the lut you used but the wheels didn’t look to be gold, until you showed the close up. Neither did the roll cage. Seats looked mega though.
I think that’s more your screen tbh, they look very clearly weissgold to me on the video :) and yeah I love the seats! No longer a black hole inside also.
1500, 1500, 1500! I hit the run-in mileage while on my way to a local race track. The moment it crossed the threshold I floored it and proceeded to having a lot of fun on the track. That first glorious 9K breakthrough was a ceremony I won’t forget. Can’t wait to see yours!
The thing is for the run in it needs to be up and down and towns mostly and off and on as you need heat cycles, going straight on the motorway is actually bad for it and you should do another 1000 on top if it was done only on motorway.
@@carswithluke only the last 150 or so was done on the highway. The first 1350 was mostly local coffee runs ;) This was before Porsche sent out an email last week that said 7K rpm was okay so I did mostly under 5k rpm :/

I've done many mods...Wheels, brakes, suspension, engine, exhaust, custom seats and many Carbon bits on the body....It is one of a kind....It's a 2016 WRX...but she's a beauty! Justin does great work. Those inserts look just right! As for the wheels, I prefer the indigo color in general. However, I think that the new color looks much better on your car than the indigo did and matching with the roll cage is definitely an added bonus!

Hello Luke, the world is really small.... I was in Lech this Sunday and in the evening I took a photo of a black GT4 RS with Swiss license plates in front of the Hotel Arlberg. I myself stayed opposite at the Hotel Tannbergerhof. And just I have recognized in the video from 8:05 the road to Zürs, which I drove along three days before myself. Had really not expected that I "know" the driver from RUclips. By the way, I drive a Cayman GTS 4.0 myself... Best regards, T
