    Hello, I'm thankful for your video, there isn't many videos at all for this model. I just purchased this same model for the same reasons of the other not being available anywhere. Just have a quick question, so ink can be loaded while printer is off. Did you have it plugged in? Not sure if it makes a difference.

    • @MomofNine
      @MomofNine  3 года назад +1

      Hello and you’re welcome. It didn’t make a difference. However, once the printer is on it’ll give you the steps to inserting each color individually… one at a time and pressing next until they’re complete.

    I have the same printer and would like to use it for sublimation but it has the regular ink already in the tank. Do you know how I can I remove the current ink from this model printer?

    • @MomofNine
      @MomofNine  2 года назад

      Good morning, you’ll have to buy the kit to flush it out. I tried this with my first ET-16600 when I put the wrong ink in and then tried to flush it out. It was messy for me and I wasn’t as successful like I’ve seen some people that done it.
      There’s many videos on here to show you how to flush it out.

      Good morning sorry for the late response. I use sublimation majority of the time. For big orders for sure but for basic items I have used copy paper or when I’m low and have a lot to cut out. However, it’s best to use Asub sublimation paper

    After having your printer for awhile what do you think of it now? Not totally understanding the tank system this might be a silly question but when you refill the tanks do you have chips to replace or anything to reset?

    • @MomofNine
      @MomofNine  2 года назад

      Good morning, I still LOVE my printer. When I refill, I just add more ink in and reset the ink levels. I ensure I keep the maintenance up, like the cleanings. Since I’ve had this one, I just had to replace the maintenance box which was easy to put in. You’ll notice when you have ink splashes for no reason everywhere which will let you know it’s time to replace the maintenance box. Which I got from Amazon. The only thing I wish I would’ve done was purchase a larger heat press for the larger prints. Hopes this answer your questions.

    • @MomofNine

      Sorry so late OMG, I hope that you find out how to do it. If not you just insert the paper in the back tray and change the page size on the printer screen once it notice that you're inputting paper in whichever tray. I use A-SUB paper

    Hi thanks for the tutorial on the set up. I just set mine up today but when I print on 13x19 from the rear tray, it starts to print and then says out of paper. Meanwhile the paper is still in the printer just sitting so it doesn't print the whole picture and then it will delete the print status and eject the paper. Not sure if that is a connection issue with Wi-Fi or if I don't have something set up correctly. Would you happen to know? Please and thanks for any information that you provide.

    • @MomofNine

      Hello you’re welcome, when you hit print from your device do you select the option to have the paper go to the rear?

    • @marciewright9280
      @marciewright9280 2 года назад

      @@MomofNine yes it will take the paper from the rear tray start printing then stops and eventually deletes the job and ejects the paper.

    • @MomofNine
      @MomofNine  2 года назад

      I’ve never had that happen, you can reset the printer from the screen or faster way by unplugging it and plugging it back in. Entering the wifi info and try to print again.

    • @MomofNine

      Hey, it’s called pizza wheels. You shouldn’t have them already, if you just set your printer up. However, that’s not within our control… I hate when mines do it, sometimes it’s noticeable. I clean the wheels inside the printer with a alcohol on a Q tip. Hope this helps.

      Thank you so much. I was using StarCraft paper. I tried printing it on a-sub paper and they are gone 🤷‍♀️. My old sawgrass 800 printed brighter colors with StarCraft paper than A-sub. But looks like I’ll be using a-sub with this Epson. Thank you for your response. Also I love you informational videos. Have a blessed weekend!

    I got my epson 16600 and I can’t seem to figure out how to use the trays I have started to do sublimation and when I try to sub on the size 19 paper it dont let me tho circuit use the top tray and idk if the other trays hold that size of paper ??? Can you help if you now !!! Thank you

    • @MomofNine
      @MomofNine  3 года назад

      Good morning ,
      The largest paper you can print or either scan is 13” x 19”, 11” x 17” on the top tray or either scan. Those sizes cannot go in the tray that says 1 or 2. Only the rear. However, you can use any other size for tray 1, 2 or even the rear. You’ll just have to slide open the blue adjustable things to the actual size of your paper.
      Also remember, when you use tray 1 and 2 you have to flip the paper the opposite way for sublimation etc. the paper logo is what you should see facing you. But for the rear tray that holds the largest size paper’s print correctly without you flipping the paper the opposite way. Just don’t forget to mirror your image.
      Hopes this helps, let me know if you still don’t get it.

      Here’s the respond they sent me. You’ll have to purchase the $40 set with all four. Only one box filled me up, but I got two (sets) just in case.
      We only offer standard sublimation ink and fluorescent ink for the ecotank printers. You may want to purchase 2 sets to be able to fill your printer. Here is the link.
