I saw them aged 17 on that tour, when Jimmy and Jonathan Melvoin were still on board. Still the best show I ever attended. They were on top of the world and could seemingly do no wrong back then...
@Rick Yeomans Well, the available recording is not as long as this but the version of "Silverfuck" alone is 33 minutes long. They played super long versions in late 96, it was crazy.
My first concert as well, I was 12 and went alone, I was bummed it was sold out and it was weird knowing my fave band was in town and suddenly the radio dj said some tickets had been released. Mom said yes, I called all friends in my class list and none we're allowed. It was a moment into adulthood, charge ahead into the unknown alone or stay home and keep reading Jurassic Park 2. I am so glad I made that choice. first thing I saw getting to the stadium was a dude eating a pumpkin with his face painted orange in an attempt to win tickets.... he did :)
@@mdubdeebz5571 Sounds like a wonderful memory for the rest of your life. Ive been a fan since the mid 90s but I didnt get to see them live until 2019. However I did get to meet Billy in 2009 and Ive also gotten to meet several members and ex-members over the years.
When they visited the Key Arena in Seattle, that was my first concert, it was my 13th-birthday present.
R. H. Similar for me. We were ahead of our time!

Pumpkins 96
I wonder how they could get an arena tour and always play arenas no matter what now...
