Absolutely incredible work. My Lord. If I ever need this service Ill remember you. I could have used you in 89 with my first pair of Jordan 4. I had the soles tied together with bread ties hahaha
Hey man, Great Vid and awesome restoration. Realistically, with the cost of all the tools and another pair for the midsole swap is it worth it ? I have 2 pairs of cements (white and black) that both need exactly what you did in the video but i was debating because I wasn’t sure if it was worth restoring or copping new pairs
Thank you! In my opinion on older pairs like these it is worth it for both display/collection purposes along with wearability, especially if you can source cheaper replacement parts. I prefer to restore and wear these older releases since they usually are a lot more comfortable with a more natural shape and higher quality materials when it comes to leather and suede compared to newer releases. Some of these older releases can be found and restored for less than the cost of recent releases as well.
I took a pair of size 11.5 312s to swap onto my 2001 bred 3. The problem is the upper is too small. There’s 130 dollars wasted. Why are the sizes so different
Were the donor soles the same size as the pair being sole swapped? If you want you can send some pictures of the issues on instagram or email, hopefully can help you out a bit if you’re still working on them.
Your going places kid 🔥

What type of brush you use for the sole glue
I use a 1/2 inch flat paintbrush for gluing
How much to replace my 2003 Jordan 3 soles and back tab?
I literally wore them maybe 5 times and found them in storage, but sole and back tab crumbled.
